2. One-to-One Mentoring
Develop ongoing, intense mentoring relationships
between girls residing in economically disadvantaged
neighborhoods in Baltimore with highly qualified
volunteer mentors.
3. After School Program
Dallas F. Nicholas and Abbottston Elementary Schools
•Weekly after school sessions: self-esteem, friendship, culture, fun!
•8-10 fifth grade girls per school, chosen by their principals
•Field trips throughout the year
•Middle school placement assistance

• 72% retention rate of those who start the program in 6th grade
• 80.5% retention rate of those who enter high school in the program
• 97% high school graduation rate of those who complete the program
• 92% College entry to date
