In 1895, Daniel David Palmer
founded the study of
chiropractic. He believe that
many physical programs were
rooted in the nervous system
and could be treated through
spinal adjustments and other
forms of hands-on care.
Though the profession has
developed a lot since then, it
remains faithful to his basic
philosophy. When a patient
first visits a chiropractic
office, the chiropractor asks
the patient about his or her
medical history and examines
the problem area. The
chiropractor also make take

Manual manipulations of the spine and other joints
in the body has been around for a long time.
Ancient writing from China and Greece dating
between 2700 B.C. and 1500 B.C. mention
spinal manipulation and the maneuvering of the
lower extremities to ease low back pain. In
fact, Hippocrates, the famous Greek physician
who lived from 460 to 357 B.C., published a
text detailing the importance of manual
manipulation. In one of his writing he declares,
“Get knowledge of the spine, for this is the
requisite for many diseases”. Evidence of
manual manipulation of the body has been
found among ancient civilizations of the
chiropractic profession dates back to 1895
when David Palmer restored the hearing of
Harvey Lillard by manually adjusting his neck
and something told him that he was on to

Palmer went on to begin the Palmer School of
Chiropractic in Davenport, lowa, which
continues to train doctors of chiropractic to
this day. Throughout the twentieth century,
the profession of chiropractic has gained
considerable recognition and scientific
support. Research studies that have cleanly
demonstrated the value of chiropractic care
in reducing health care costs, improving
recovery rates and increasing patient
satisfaction. In fact, one vey large study
conducted in Canada, the 1993 Manga Study
concluded that chiropractic care would save
hundreds of millions of dollars annually in work
disability payments and direct health care

expected to growth by 28 percents
between 2010 and 2020, faster than the
average for all occupations. An increasing
aging population will have more medical
conditions, such as breaks and fractures
caused by osteoporosis, which require
imaging to diagnose and treat. Radiologic
technologists will be needed to maintain
and use the diagnostic equipment. Although
hospitals will remain the main employer of
radiologic technologists; a number of new
jobs will be in physicians officers and in

Texas have to many good collage and university that you can choose no matter what
career you want you would always found what you want. I choose HCC because it
offered me a lot of good opportunity. The campus that I choose is really close to
my house it would take me around 5 minutes to get there. I’m planning to do only
2 years at HCC and then am going to transferred to the University of Houston to
be a able to get a bachelor in science. After those 4 years I will go to medical
schools to become a pediatrician. I have to many choices like go to Miami and
start my education there and other school around Florida, but am going to stay in
Houston because those two schools offered me the opportunities that am looking
for. HCC offered my a good price for those 2 year of college and is close to my
house I don’t have to spend a lot of money in gasoline, I don’t have to wake-up to
early in the morning, they are offering me 2 days of weekly. In the other hand I
choose the University of Houston because I think that I have better educational
skill that they may help me more to achieve my bachelor in science , it is a little
expensive but you can apply for financial aid and they will give you some money
for you start. Am not sure in what medical school I will like to attend yet, but
am thinking of the University of Texas Health Science that is located in
Preparation to
start
post=secondary
training
A. Thanks good am choosing a
career that it run in my
family blood . Am going to
talk a little of my family
passion for this field. In my
personal life a grow up with
doctors that have all types of
medical career. My mom part
of the family the y are all
doctors, I can say that all my
uncle they have a master or a
doctor in the medical field. I
have told and teach from
professional people. My mom
in her free time she trait to
teach me all the basic so
when I start I will have some
clue about the field. I have
also look in youtube.com to
get more practice at that
field..
i. At HCC there not really a
test to start, but they will
ask you some question and
you better answering good.
Application Process
HCC
I apply online
There not a deadline it just
depends when you want to
start collage
To complete my application I went
to the school and I talk with a
representative about what
really interested my. I will
work around 4 hours to be able
to pay only my car and the
insurances.
 These are some of the question they will ask
you.
Do you work?
If how you live?
UH
I apply online
There deadline work in different
way it just depend in what
station of the year you will like
to start. But you have to apply
around 2 month before
spring, winter, summer or
autumn.
To complete my application I will
finish first 2 year at HCC.
When I finish those 2 years I
will transfer to UH. That how
am going to complete my
education.
Financial Aid
Assistance
• Yes I just complete the FAFSA they will give me around 5,000 dollars.
• I did complete the loan application but, I decide to pay with my own money .
Thanks god my parent will help me to pay my collage.
• I haven’t apply either for grants or scholarships
Summary
In my personal opinion I think and I know that am doing the best to complete my collage.
They're different people that think different and they have other point of view. By doing
this project i learn what really like and what I don’t. for all those people that are looking
for a collage that don’t request a lot of test in other world don’t ask for then that really
good, just because they are giving you a opportunity that a lot of collage offered to but they
ask for more request and more papers. They have a lot of good programs you don’t have to
do 4 years you can do 1,2 or 3 it just depend on what you really want to do. I’m really happy
and excited to start.
Summary• For my it have been a really good experiences, all the research that I did it help me to
develop my skills and discover what i really like and the field that I want to be working
during all my life. This research help me to discovered a lot of thing that I even know about
me. Now am more interesting in the field of Pediatrician they have really good change to
work with the people that you want to work no matter if it children ,adult or old person and
the best thing is that you can work in hospital, clinic or at school or where they need you.
 I choose that particular field because it run on the family and because is what I
like. I know I will be really happy working with people all ages no matter the
attitude they will have because am there to help then no to judge them or to get
mad at them,
» That’s a question that I always ask to myself how I will look myself
living where and working where. Am not only see myself living there am
going to live there no matter what it take my if it take 10 years or 20. I
will like to live in South Beach,, that place is located in Miami, Florida or
Galleria, Houston or in California. I will prefer to work in clinic not in a
hospital just because you have to stay more hours and I will have a
family to take care too.

I choose HCC because it offered me a lot of good opportunity. The campus that I choose is really close to my house it would take me around 5 minutes to get there. I’m planning to do only 2 years at HCC and then am going to transferred to the University of Houston to be a able to get a bachelor in science. After those 4 years I will go to medical schools to become a pediatrician. I have to many choices like go to Miami and start my education there and other school around Florida, but am going to stay in Houston because those two schools offered me the opportunities that am looking for. HCC offered my a good price for those 2 year of college and is close to my house I don’t have to spend a lot of money in gasoline, I don’t have to wake-up to early in the morning, they are offering me 2 days of weekly. In the other hand I choose the University of Houston because I think that I have better educational skill that they may help me more to achieve my bachelor in science , it is a little expensive but you can apply for financial aid and they will give you some money for you start. Am not sure in what medical school I will like to attend yet, but am thinking of the University of Texas Health Science that is located in

At HCC there not really a test to start, but they will ask you some question and you better answering good.
  • 19. Application Process HCC I apply online There not a deadline it just depends when you want to start collage To complete my application I went to the school and I talk with a representative about what really interested my. I will work around 4 hours to be able to pay only my car and the insurances.  These are some of the question they will ask you. Do you work? If how you live? UH I apply online There deadline work in different way it just depend in what station of the year you will like to start. But you have to apply around 2 month before spring, winter, summer or autumn. To complete my application I will finish first 2 year at HCC. When I finish those 2 years I will transfer to UH. • 20. Financial Aid Assistance • Yes I just complete the FAFSA they will give me around 5,000 dollars. • I did complete the loan application but, I decide to pay with my own money . Thanks god my parent will help me to pay my collage. • I haven’t apply either for grants or scholarships Summary In my personal opinion I think and I know that am doing the best to complete my collage. They're different people that think different and they have other point of view. By doing this project i learn what really like and what I don’t. for all those people that are looking for a collage that don’t request a lot of test in other world don’t ask for then that really good, just because they are giving you a opportunity that a lot of collage offered to but they ask for more request and more papers. They have a lot of good programs you don’t have to do 4 years you can do 1,2 or 3 it just depend on what you really want to do. I’m really happy and excited to start.
