I.T. Concepts with System Analysis and Design
Quiz # 3 in Midterm
Name: _____________________________________Score: _________
Yr. and Section: ______________________________Date: __________
I. Concepts of Modeling Tools of System Analyst
Direction: Tell whether if the statement/images describe a Warnier-Orr Diagram,
Nassi-Shneiderman, Structured English, Decision Trees or Decision Tables. Write
your answer on your paper.
1. The design of program structures by identifying the output and processing
results and then working backwards to determine steps and combinations of
input needed to produce them.
2. For every flowcharts of a program, almost everything you can represent with a
flowchart you can also represent with this diagram.
3. Ee
4. A model of decision that shows the possible consequences, including chance
event outcomes, resource costs and utility.
5. Compose of nested group of sets and subsets shown as a
set of nested brackets.
6. Uses logical construction and sentences designed to carry out instructions.
7. A model of decision that shows possibilities for defining a problem and
the actions to be taken.
8.
9. A graphical design representation for structured programming.
10. Once the data elements are defined on the data dictionary, we begin to
process it in this decision model.
11. Consists of four quadrants condition stub, action stub, condition entry
and action entry.
12. The development of this model moves from right to left. First, the intended
output or results of the processing are defined.
13. Each process is shown in brackets.
14. Designs are made through IF, THEN, ELSE, and SO statements.
15. Shows groupings of processes and data that must be passed from level to level.
