Have you ever wonder why they put someone in the story? Have you ever read a story and know
that a character has a second meaning? In the story "The Little Prince", The Aviator is taken into
the world of the Little Prince. This is actually a manifestation in his mind. The Little Prince helps
the Avator with his insecurities and/or anxieties. Some characters that have this secret meaning are:
the flower, the fox, and the snake. The flower in the story represents love. The flower and the
prince show love together even though the prince is a child. He shows how he compromises with
the flower and does everything she asks and more. The flower came first to the prince's planet and
grew there. When she finally came full bloom, the prince said...show more content...

. . It's the time that you spent on your rose that makes your rose so important. . . . People have
forgotten this truth, but you mustn't forget it. You become responsible for what you've tamed.
You're responsible for your rose. . . ."(63,64). This shows the conclusion of his visit with the fox.
It also shows the story of the friendship between him and the fox. The fox helps explains what the
prince has learned in the story by calling his lessons a "secret". By doing this, the fox reveals that
knowledge like this is not available to everyone. The fox's lessons must be learned at some point.
Also in some way, they should be considered a privilege for learning that lesson. The avator also
learns from the fox. This is when he says "I was surprised by suddenly understanding that
mysterious radiance of the sands. When I was a little boy I lived in an old house, and there was a
legend that a treasure was buried in it somewhere. Of course, no one was ever able to find the
treasure, perhaps no one even searched. But it cast a spell over the whole house." This shows the
moment when the narrator grasps for himself the fox's secret. Usually,in most stories, the story's
moral is given at the very end of the work. In The Little Prince, by contrast, the author delivers his
lesson early on so that the narrator, and the reader, can experience it for

7. Analysis Of The Little Prince
The novel The Little Prince was originally published in 1943. Antoine De Saint was a pioneering
aviator, a prominent aristocrat, poet and writer, and thus the novel; The Little Prince was inspired by
his real–life experiences (SiМЃs). He only added a few fictionalized imageries to enhance the merit
and understandability of the book to his audience (Cengage Learning Gale). The book has
demonstrated massive success as it has sold over 140 million copies worldwide translated into more
than 300 languages and dialects, and thus becoming the best–selling book ever published (Howard
and Mortensen). More significantly, this novel is one of the most key books because of its
thoughtful and introspective nature, and hence bringing hope to human beings. The little prince is
one of the children's must–read handbooks with philosophy for grown–ups. This is as a result of the
book's significant poetic and optimistic reflections primarily on the existence of human beings
(Cengage Learning Gale). The novel demonstrates the author's practical artistic skills through his
lyrical, charming and well–illustrations made throughout the book, sweeping the audience into a
whirl hood of childhood fancy (Saint–ExupeМЃry). The Little Prince is a simple book with a
combination of satire, philosophy, science, imagination and childish vivacity that can command the
attention of grown–ups and children's hearts and minds.
Through his book, Antoine De Saint–Exupery communicates important values that "grown–ups"
overlooks more often in everyday life. The Little Prince is written as a children's novel. However,
it be can analyze at various diverse levels. Therefore, it's important to note that a "child" or an
"adult" is not defined by the age, but rather by the state of mind (Weber and Probert). Although The
Little Prince is designed as a childhood novel, it makes several explanations and clarifications
regarding human life and nature, and hence it's optimistic. For instance, The Little Prince is depicted
as one of the two protagonists of the story. Hence, after leaving his home planet and his rose which
he adored so much, he traveled around the world, ending up on Earth. He was puzzled by the
behavior of grown–ups (Howard and Mortensen). The

A pilot due to engine failure has stranded himself in the Sahara Desert, who one day met an odd
little boy with golden hair who happened to be from another planet, Asteroid B 612. The boy, who
refers to himself as a The Little Prince, is on a journey for knowledge. The curious little prince
asks many questions on the pilot and tells the pilot of his life on his very own small planet. The
magical journey of the little prince fits the characteristic of a children's book. However, it is actually
a story of a grown–up who has almost forgotten what is important. It is the story of the pilot's
reconnection to his own sense of imagination and wonder. It is the story of the re–opening of the
pilot's heart.
The exploit of the story has preceded by the pilot's recall of his first attempt at drawing. In his
childhood, he twice drew an elephant inside a boa constrictor. However, both failed to be
acknowledged by the grown–ups. He was disappointed by their reactions, and so the narrator
follows the advised of many to quit drawing and to focus on...show more content...

they drank the water as the water feeds their hearts as much as their bodies, and the two share a
moment of bliss as they agree that too many people do not see what is truly important in life.
When the story ends, the little prince decided to go back to his planet while the pilot go back on

9. What Is The Characterization Of The Little Prince
Identification with the Little Prince's Fox Throughout the short children's novel, The Little Prince by
Antoine de Saint–Exupery, the Little Prince encounters a variety of different characters, all
showing him or teaching him something about life. My favorite character and the one that I can
connect to most is the Fox. The fox enlightens him on what it is truly is to be tamed. He shows him
that you are responsible for whatever you have tamed, whether it be a pet, a person, or even a rose.
When the Little Prince first stumbled across the fox, he would not go anywhere near him. The fox
informed him that if he wanted to get to know him, he would have to have patience and tame
him. He then further explained how he has never been tamed before, and requested that the Little
Prince would do so. Little by little, each day the Little Prince would get closer and closer to the
Fox, at last being able to pet him. The Fox grew to anticipate seeing the Little Prince at the same
time daily, located in the same place. He grew to love the Little Prince, leading them to establish
ties. The Little Prince was not just any little boy to him anymore. Now that the Fox was tamed, it
is time for the Little Prince to leave. The Fox begins to weep and the Little Princes worries that
taming the Fox did not do him any good. However, the Fox goes onto explain that because of him
the golden color of the wheat fields will bring him joy, because it evokes memories of the Little
Prince's

12. Analysis Of ' The Little Princess '
Burnett's The Little Princess constructs the child as being feminine, motherly, polite, and rich as the
ideal princess should be. Nonetheless, Sara is also given a great imagination which is unlike other
princesses, and allows her to escape the conflicts she comes across; in her portrayal of The Little
Princess Burnett's idea of a child being subjected to isolation and left to provide for herself is dealt
with through the use of Sara's imagination. The Hunger Games takes a distinct approach, rather than
demonstrating an ideal princess that must survive by providing for herself by using her imagination,
Collins displays a strong and independent girl who must kill and gain knowledge about the world
she live in to survive. The shift in contemporary literature demonstrates that in today's society a
woman can do more than just be beautiful, and have a the brains to care for a male; A girl can also
be physically strong, independent, and provide for herself and others. Both the texts reflect
different ideas of the actions a child is obligated to take in order to remain alive. Additionally, both
texts generate different ideas about the ideal young lady and the traits they were expected to poses
at the time. The Little Princess was initially a play that was written in the golden age of children's
literature, a time when authors focused on gender differences. Durning this time period one can
infer that social class and race were important. Social class because Sara does her best

13. The Little Prince Relationship
The Little Prince leaves his planet because his relationship with the rose is not going the way he
wanted it to go. He cares for his her but she is giving him a hard time. He has this love for her but
it didn't end the way they both wanted it to end. However, they both showed greatness of love with
each other which is a sign he is maturing. The relationship with the fox and the little prince is very
different from most friendships. When the fox asks him to tame him, the little prince asked what
that mean? The fox answered him that they will come together by something and will need each
other. By the little prince knows that he has a greater understanding of what friendship is and what it
means to be a friend. Though for the little prince, he is just a fox like a regular fox. After the he is
tamed, they become friends with one another. The relationship of the pilot and the little prince shows
with the maturity of the both of the, they had a conversation about grown–ups where the pilot
expressed his feelings toward elders. They were strangers to each other but in the end they became
friends and talk about the life such as him drawing. In real life, it is about governing people in such a
way that you take control over them like the king wants to do. Even the snake the little prince in the
desert meets asks questions and demands more explanation than the other character in the novel. The
snake doesn't have that much to learn then the other characters and the grown–ups on

14. The Little Prince Analysis
Innumerable hours have been spent in search for the best way to use time and to live our lives to
the fullest. Nevertheless, it seems that no one has found the perfect answer. Throughout The Little
Prince (1943), Antoine de Saint Exupery gives the reader a look at how society views time. In
particular, he offers up a critique on how many individuals value saving time and efficiency over
anything else. The titular character witnesses this first hand through his various interactions with
grownups along his journey. He meets characters who are enthralled with task at hand and they they
would not "waste time" to enjoy other things in life that may be more meaningful. The novella is able
to convey the fact that society has become overly consumed with the pursuit of efficiency although
taking your time is often more rewarding than rushing in an attempt to save time.
It seems that nowadays countless people live by the saying "time is money" and spend all their
time fully dedicated to work. The line separating an individual's work and life has become
essentially blurred and it is not uncommon to have people wholly wrapped up with their careers,
having no time for anything unrelated. On the Little Prince's journey across planets, he meets two
characters, the businessman and the geographer, both demonstrating an unhealthy relationship
between work and time. The businessman is so devoted to his work that he barely acknowledges the

15. Reading and papers are the basis of this class. Many stories have been read and many papers have
been written. There are three however that should be focused on: "The Little Prince", "After the
ball", and "How Much land does a man need." This paper will find common ideas within the three
stories, and decipher the authors intent in writing them.
Firstly, all these stories are different in their own regards but are very similar all at the same time.
One major similarity is that Leo Tolstoy wrote both "After the ball" and "How much land does a man
need." As well both authors chosen to compare are men although one is French and one is Russian.
These stories may have different settings but they all focus on one thing and that is the what is...show

He wrote about the struggle between the life and death principle. Tolstoy tried to see the nature
and the people as the sources of the life. One of the main things Tolstoy was trying to do was find
meaning in a meaningless world. He wanted to know why everything happened and why people
were who they are. The main stay he wanted was reform. He wanted peace and prosperity through
the world. In his stories both the characters struggle with love. The both focus on that love and how
the love dies. In "After the Ball", Ivan loses interest in his love with the girl because of something
her father did that he does not like and it causes his love to die. In "How much land does a man
need", Pahom loves the land and the money the land brings him. He becomes greedy and his lust
gets the better of him and his love for land and money dies when he dies. The other similarity
between the two stories is that Tolstoy tries to express his commentary on the world in which the
two stories take place in. The both focus on how society and culture, both play parts in the lives of
people. The show things can become askew and not everything is how you want it to be. An
individual may love, but something someone does may ruin that love for that individual, or someone
may want more than they already have. This greed will end up killing them and they will be left
with only what the really needed and not what they wanted.

relevant today. On the Little Prince's journey across planets he meets two characters, the
businessman and the geographer, both demonstrating the unbalanced relationship between work and
time. The businessman is so devoted in his work that he barely acknowledges the Little Prince. He
deems that time not spent working is such a waste that he only talks to the Little Prince in between
his work. The businessman claims he only has time to be "concerned about matters of consequence"
(The Little Prince) 53, which is not disparate from how many, in the real world, view their jobs to be
essential, thus spending less time doing other things.
Likewise, the geographer is consumed by his work and considers the time spend working in essence
invaluable. He claims that "geographers is much too important to go loafing about" (The Little
Prince) 64, thus he does not do any exploring. Ironically this leaves the geographer with nothing to

The Little Prince
The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint Exupery is a children's novella written as much for adults
as it is for children. The simplistic nature of the book can easily be misconstrued as a typical
children's story, however, the themes and morals of this story are designed to help adults live more
fulfilling lives. The author dedicated the novella to his friend Leon Werth and simultaneously
apologized to kids for making the dedication to an adult. The entire novella is a critique of adult
tendencies and a celebration of the innocence and inquisitive nature of children. Exupery uses
proverbs and metaphors to help simplify life lessons. The naГЇve and curious Little Prince asks the
adult narrator a barrage of questions...show more content...
It is a tribute to the Little Prince that he is unafraid of a potentially lethal venomous snake. While
some may argue that it is the Little Prince's naivety that allows him to form a relationship with the
snake, I make the argument that the Little Prince is not afraid of the snake because he is not afraid
of death. He knows that he can be reunited with his beloved flower if he permits the snake to take
his life here on Earth. The Little Prince teaches us the meaning of true love when he bravely submits
to this fate. He tells the narrator not to be sad for him, and to disregard his lifeless body. The Little
Prince goes on to leave a gift for the narrator, his laughter. Every time that the narrator glances up at
the stars, he will be able to hear the Little Prince laugh. This kind gesture is yet another example of
the Little Prince's generosity and the positive impact that he has on those he bestows his friendship
upon.
The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint Exepury is a children's story that is written for adults.
While kids will appreciate the fun drawings and the easy to follow plot, adults are able to enjoy
those aspects but also able to draw the connotative meaning from the novella. Life is far too short to
allow ourselves to be consumed by pointless matters such as trying to count how many stars there
are so that we can claim ownership of them. We need to return to a child–like state of mind where
our noses are pressed

20. Serendipity is a song that explores the theme of love through a visual presentation that demonstrates
the meaning behind the emotional lyrics that was written by the artist to draw attention to the issue
of loving yourself. The song is sang by Park Jimin and composed by Kim Namjoon, whom are both
members from a South Korean boy band called BTS. Serendipity is an occurrence and development
of events that happens by luck that can be for a happy or beneficial way. The purpose of the song is
to empathise the importance of loving and accepting yourself for who you are, rather than self

Therefore, in Serendipity, the composer uses The Little Prince references, to help appeal to the
audience's consciousness to always love yourself.
The composer of the song used language devices such as metaphors, to create emotional lyrics that
would prevent self hatred. Flowers represent purity and innocence," I become your flower, As if we
were waiting, We bloom until we ache", the artist compares himself to a flower that is waiting to
'bloom' to find his happiness, but doing so may also be painful due to him constantly hesitating to
accept himself which leads to him feeling internal conflict and confusion. Within the presentation,
the character pricks his finger on the yellow cactus flower, it symbolises that they are beautiful but
they endure all things, no matter how painful or difficult, thus represents Jimin, showing that he
endures pain. Throughout the song, the artist repeatedly addressed his happiness as a second second
of himself, and effectively revealed the protagonist's desire of well–being. " You're my penicillium",
the songwriter used a fungi to describe his happiness, by showing that it is his cure to his life.
"Saving me, my angel, my world", symbolises that his conscious helped him find hope, as the
feathers falling down in front of Jimin's face represented angels. The scene when the protagonist
looks at the moon manifests that the dark night sky represents his sadness, but the moon glowed
within the sky which effectively contrasts
