We wanted to keep the content of our website conventional because conventional pages
provide the audience with opportunities for learning, interactivity and purchasing.

We included links to appeal to our tech savvy audience; especially targeting the 16-24 year
olds of our primary and secondary audiences, most of whom have at least one social media

We found both linear and non-linear examples of indie artist websites. We decided to create
a non-linear website because we felt that it would be better visually and would be more
interactive and interesting for our audience.

are a debut band with only

Although competition pages are unconventional for the
indie genre, we felt that it would be a good interactive
opportunity; especially appealing to our secondary
audience of British 16-24 year olds who idolise the band
and would love to spend a day with them.
