3. Summary of Unit In our unit we are learning about all of the rules and regulations about Volleyball. Students will be able to run a full game and practice with their teammates. We will have small competitions throughout the lesson, and the students will get to see how much they have improved since the beginning. Get ready!
4. Role of the teacher The role of the teacher in this Unit is to make sure the students understand the subject of Volleyball and all of its aspects. The teacher will be there to guide them and tell them the correct ways to do a specific thing. The teacher will overlook and be open for any questions that the students may have.
5. Role of the parent The parents will need to make sure that the students do not slack off with their job in the classroom. They will need to make sure that their child is practicing for the unit at home. It is also the parents job to make sure their child has the right equipment for the day.
6. Role of the student The students are to be held responsible for having a positive attitude during the units. They need to make sure they are respectful of the teacher and their classmates. They must come to class eager to learn and make sure to pay attention.
7. Benefits of the unit Some benefits of the unit are learning how to play a sport. Keeping the students physically active in the classroom. The students will be able to understand how to set up a lesson on Volleyball.

Demonstrate manipulative skills by catching a bounced ball with hands, volleying a soft object, kicking a stationary object, and throwing a ball underhand with two hands.PE.2.5.) Demonstrate ball moving skills by passing, dribbling a ball with dominant hand, kicking a slow moving ball, and throwing underhand with one arm.
9. Objectives for unit Objective: Students will understand how to volley a soft object with a partner consistently. Objective: Students will be able to understand how to use correct format when passing a volleyball back in forth with a partner.
10. Explanation of what Project-Based Learning is and how it will be used in your classroom I think the term project based learning is a hands on type of curriculum. I believe students have fun working together in teams and as a class. I believe more studetns benefit from the project based learning skill because I believe to some it would be easier to understand by doing an activity then just hearing a professor talk about it. I believe students are more engaged and involved with this type of learning and also benefit from it.
