In April 2020, when the severest of the lockdown set in India, numerous families were left in a precarious situation and facing issues of hunger and poverty. The Saharsa district, in particular, saw a lot of needy people go hungry, due to its rural population and people dependent on daily work. Team Happy Horizons Trust, stepped in to provide food relief for the people who needed it the most. Over the next 4 months, it helped 2200+ families covering a total of over 13000 family members. It did this with the support of its donors and well-wishers. Here's a compilation of the work done and families impacted. Images from every village and neighbourhood we touched.
