Responsibilities:
• Analyzing and translating business requirements into technical requirements
• Develop and maintain processes that reduce redundancy and accuracy for achieving organizational

• Develop scripts for automating various activities according to project requirement and hence improving

• To design and develop glue layer/module to map the messages exchanged between two entities as per
the interface /API exposed by the client

• Improve system performance for cost maintenance by fixing system memory leaks in code using Linux

Aricent Femto Access Point (FAP) Framework Integration with Octasic NodeB, Client – UEIDDOS, India
Description: FAP - Femto Access Point also called as femtocell is a small cellular base station designed to
provide indoor network access for home and small business. Aricent FAP is 3GPP HNB solution having all 3G
RNC stacks integrated
FAP provides NBAP like interface for control plane and FP based API interface for data plane
communication with NodeB and hence establish CS and PS Call
Role: Module Leader. Developed (from scratch) and tested code for R6 HSPA Call and OLPC-Outer Loop
Power Control feature to maintain quality of communication at the required level of service quality

Description: Aricent FAP integration on Qualcomm dual mode femtocell developed for enterprise and
metro market and establish end to end CS PS call along with enabling ciphering feature at RLC layer .The
Femto should also support feature like Multiple UE ,Multi-RAB ,Data performance and DCH-FACH state
transitions.
Role: Module Leader .Designed and developed (from scratch) approach for hardware ciphering on
qualcomm board and testing ciphering at RLC layer for all 3 modes for multiple UE’s .System Integration
testing for multiple UE feature and successfully running 8 UE's simultaneously on the board.

Aricent Femto Access Point (FAP) Framework Integration with Percello NodeB, Client – Broadcom, Israel
Description: Aricent FAP integration on percello board to and successfully establish R5 and R6 CS PS
Call .Percello board does not support standard FP layer hence the challenge was to develop a glue layer
that maps the messages exchanged at Iub interface between Aricent RNC and percello NodeB
