3. Tripline is a web 2.0 tool for creating:
● An interactive multi-map
● A cooperative map for our projects
● A digital map with locations, images and texts
It is also available as an app in the App Store (for iPad) and Google
Play

4. On the home page we can see what this
tool has to offer by adding:
● locations
● travellers and followers
● photos
● facilities on sharing
● a number of useful security policy
information
● examples of maps

5. In our account we can:
• See all the maps we have
created
• Start a new map
• See the maps we follow
• See our inbox messages
• See our activity as well as
our friends, etc.

6. To create a new map, we should:
• click on the new map tag
• give a title on the map
• add a destination if we want
• add our place to start the map
• import if we want sites linked
to your Facebook, Twitter,
Instagram Foursquare, tripled
• click on create my map

7. The created map allows us to add new points-places that
point to the path we have followed

8. On the map we have created, we can:
• change the order of the sites
• add day and time of visit (from the boxes-
options next to the sites)
• make the map public, private or visible
only to friends which we’ll add (from the
settings)
For distances longer than 500 kilometers:
• click on the route to see the means of
transport we can use

9. We do not forget to save our map

10. Once we've saved the map, we can then:
• go over to each location to import images
(Pictures can be from our personal file, from our Facebook account,
Instagram or from Flickr. Our photos must be a maximum of 10MB)
• add text as well as comments (by clicking on the icon below
the photo and the text)

12. On our map we can add:
• travellers
• followers
(by entering the person's email
account that we want to add or
the username if it happens to
have an account)

13. We add a collaborator as a traveller to our map to add:
• Places
• Photos
• Text
Otherwise we leave it as follows (follower)
Just before we finish our map, we can see it in preview
and in video format by pressing the corresponding arrows

15. We can further edit the map from the drop-down menu
beside adding travellers
● Making a copy, we can create
a new map that does not
contain text, photos, or
other notes.
● In a printable format, we can
copy it, paste it into a
document, and print it.

16. We can also download it to our computer in KML format

17. We can share the map by taking the
link or the code to put it on:
