Milano, Italy

2. WP1 objective
! This WP is aimed at share among the
partners the most systematic possible
view of the main factors that
characterize today the knowledge
development and sharing process
within and across the four social
groups, comprising scientists, public
sector, private sector, and the civil
society.
2
3. WP2 objective
! In WP2 the focus will be on the

6. WP3 objective
! WP3 is aimed at developing a knowledge
management framework for accommodating
different tools and means to be used
depending on the type of interaction that
must be reached and the stakeholders to be
involved.
! The knowledge management framework
should integrate knowledge exchange needs
that have to be considered within each
social group at large and across different
social groups.
6
7. WP3 main tasks
! Success stories will be analysed
! A summary of the main results of the latter
analysis and the previous conducted in WP1
and WP2 will be provided so as to highlight
what are currently the best tools that have
been used to guarantee information flows,
permitting to inform decision making with
new knowledge when relevant, and
supporting knowledge maintenance and
retrieval.
7
8. WP3 tasks
! Task 3.1. Development of a knowledge
management framework, addressing the main
goals to be achieved in more effective knowledge
co-production, sharing, maintenance, and
dissemination (Task Leader:POLIMI).
! What will be developed in this task is not a full
knowledge management system, but rather a
framework that will address the main issues,
influencing factors, and processes of such a
system.
! Some tools will be described and detailed more
than others, whilst special attention will be
devoted to put them in context.
