16. Goal IV: Continued Teacher Excellence The School of Science leads a national initiative in High School Biomedical Sciences. PLTW Biomedical Sciences: School of Science, IUPUI – since 2006 (Jeff Watt) PLTW Engineering: IU-Kokomo, School of Engineering & Technology (Charlie Feldhaus) IUPUI is one of only three national teacher training sites. 250 high school teachers from 32 states have become master teachers in a four-course biomedical sciences elective track.
