• Spatio-temporal browsing trough the
Europeana metadata with a 3D visualization
in a web browser
• 100% open-source and open data project
• Try new cutting-edge technology
• Use the Europeana OpenSearch API

• JSONP Europeana API, PLEASE !!!
• Improvement of the client: from a “fast
baked” prototype into an useful tool ...
• Server side ranking: sorting of the results
• Semantic search improvements
• Sorting by popularity / number of visits?
• MapRank Search: specialized ranking for
large map collection

8. Open Source project
• Complete source code on GitHub repository
• README with instructions
• Closure Toolset developement
• In this moment a prototype
• Can be improved and turned into a product
