21.CONCLUSION
WHAT IS AGNIHOTRA:-
AGNIHOTRA is the science of HEALING the ATMOSPHERE through
PYRAMID FIRES to eliminate POLLUTION & CONTAMINATION.
It’s written in the Vedas that “HEAL THE ATMOSPHERE AND IT
WILL HEAL YOU”. According to Vedas most of the nutrient comes from
atmosphere. So we should focus on atmosphere.
3
4
Agnihotra homa
It is most important and should
be practised exactly at sunrise and
sunset time daily.
Vyahruti Homa
It can be performed at any time
except sunrise and sunset. It is also
performed when commencing Om
Tryambakam Homa.
Om Tryambakam Homa
It should be performed at least
4 hours every day. It should be
performed for 24 hours on full
moon and no moon days.
CONTRIBUTION OF HOMA IN OUR LIFE:-
The purification of the atmosphere, the soil,
and waters
The harmonisation of body, soul, and spirit &
one's inner spiritual growth for general well being
The restoration of ecological balance
Strengthening the immune systems of man and
animals
The reduction of plant diseases and pests
Gaining healthier and tastier nutrition
which is highly energized and more
compatible i.e. Digestible
5
THE EFFECT OF AGNIHOTRA IS FELT ON:-
the plant
the soil
the atmosphere
the human being
the water
the animals
the agriculture
66
EFFECT OF AGNIHOTRA ON PLANT:-
Plants develop leaf veins that are cylindrical and larger than normal.
Production of chlorophyll is higher
Promotes proper systems of oxygen cycles in nature.
Greater array of cell structures.
Excellent substance, taste, and colour; along with
good seed size and seed quality.
Bees are also attracted to the homa atmosphere &
special hormone is secreted in the homa atmosphere
which, consumed through the honey, strengthens the
immune system in people.
7
EFFECT OF AGNIHOTRA ON SOIL:-
Increasing the availability of soluble nitrogen
Stabilize the amounts of potash, nitrogen, and trace elements in it.
Increases the amount of water-soluble phosphorus available to plants in the soil.
This has a great effect on their growth and reproductive cycles.
Consideration of the moon’s phases and rhythms, with which seeds are sown and
planting is done also support the success of homa farming.
Earthworms proliferate in this environment .Due to increases in their hormonal
production; they distribute moisture in the soil and provide it with humus.
8
EFFECT OF AGNIHOTRA ON ATMOSPHERE:-
All in all, the Homa applications are a practical contribution to
environmental protection because they purify the atmosphere and
improve the quality of air, water, and soil. The effects of so-called
subtle (vital) forces and energies on plants, as well as on humans and
animals, could easily be proven if scientists pay attention to them.

EFFFECT OF AGNIHOTRA ON HUMAN BEING:-
Reduce head ache , stress and relieve tension.
Reduce sinusitis ,respiratory problem and asthma.
Beneficial for depression and insomnia.
Beneficial for hyper active children.
Renew brain cell and revitalize skin.
Purify blood and circulatory system.
Reduce smoking and drinking.
Cures cancer.
12
DIRECT USE OF AGNIHOTRAASH IN AGRICULTURE:-
IMPREGNATIONS OF SEEDS AND BULBS
13
mixture of cow urine and water in a ratio of 50:50, to which up to 4 tablespoons of
Agnihotra ash per 5 litres of solution are added and stirred.
Seeds and bulbs should soak in this solution for 30-40 minutes. This strengthens the
germinating plant and makes it more resistant to pests.
Like cow dung, cow urine has antibacterial effects and provides a protective coating
around the seeds and bulbs
After this time of treatment, seeds are spread on filter paper, or other absorbent paper,
to dry. They should be dry enough to spread, but moist enough so that the core of the
seed doesn’t dryout. Bulbs may be planted immediately after being treated with the
solution.
FERTILIZERS
 In addition, plants can be fertilized with a mixture of Agnihotra
ash, stinging nettles,
The stinging nettles are fermented i.e. decomposed in
the water for 7-14 days, depending on weather
conditions and the amount of nettles needed.
This mixture should then be diluted to a solution with a
ratio of 1:9 and filtered with a fine screen (sieve) into a
spraying container or watering can.
14
15
PLANT NUTRIENT
SOLUTION
4 tablespoons of Agnihotra
ash and up to 4 tablespoons of
pulverized, dried cow dung
are stirred in approximately 5
litres of water and then applied
to plants.
This may be repeated every
14 days, depending on how
much it is needed.
16
SPRAY SOLUTION
A nutrient solution to be sprayed can be made by mixing up to 4 tablespoons of
Agnihotra ash with 5 litres of water.
This spray solution is left standing for 3 days and then filtered through a fine
screen before it is used to protect plants against pests and diseases.
A spray solution can also be made from certain fern blossoms, in which approximately
150 grams of the blossoms, mixed with 2 litres of water and 2 tablespoons of
Agnihotra ash, are left standing to ferment for 7-10 days
Filtered through a narrow-meshed screen and then finally distributed on the plants with
a sprayer, this helps keep away pests such as snails.
STRUCTURE OF AGNIHOTRA HUT AND RESONANCE POINT
17
18
MATERIALS REQUIRED FOR CONDUCT AGNIHOTRA and :-
Copper pyramid of fixed size
Ingredients (dried cow dung, cow’s ghee, brown rice)
Mantra (vibrations)
Timesheet exact to the second of sunrise/sunset and watch
19
AGNIHOTRA MANTRA AT SUNRISE:-
Sooryáya Swáhá Sooryáya Idam Na Mama
Prajápataye Swáhá Prajápataye Idam Na Mama
(Put brown rice mixed with ghee into the fire at each “swaha”)
AGNIHOTRA MANTRA AT SUNSET:-
Agnaye Swáhá Agnaye Idam Na Mama
Prajápataye Swáhá Prajápataye Idam Na Mama
(Put brown rice mixed with ghee into the fire at each “swáhá”)
20
OM TRYAMBAKAM HOMA (4 hours daily)
Om Tryambakam yajámahe Sugandhimpushti vardhanam
Urvárukamiva bandhanán Mrutyor muksheeya mámrutát swáhá
(Put one drop of ghee into the fire at each “swáhá”)
VYAHRYTI HOMA MANTRA
Bhooh swáhá agnaye idam na mama
Bhuwah swáhá wáyawe idam na mama
Swah swáhá sooryáya idam na mama
Bhoor bhuwah swah swáhá Prajápataye idam na mama
(Put one drop of ghee into the fire at each “swáhá”) 21
PROCEDURE OF AGNIHOTRA:-
A FEW MINUTES BEFORE THE ACTUAL TIME OF SUNRISE AND SUNSET YOU SHOULD START
TO PREPARE THE AGNIHOTRA FIRE AS FOLLOWS:
22
Place a flat piece of dried cow dung at the bottom of the copper pyramid. Arrange pieces of
dried cow dung in the pyramid in such a manner as will allow air to pass
Apply a little Ghee to a small piece of cow dung and light it. Insert this lighted piece of cow dung
in the middle of the pyramid.
Soon all the dung in the pyramid will catch fire. You may use a hand fan to blow the air and help
the flame. However, do not blow on the fire so as to avoid bacteria from the mouth affecting the
fire.
You take a few grains of rice in a dish or your left palm and apply a few drops of ghee to them.
23
Just before the next Agnihotra collect the ash and keep it in a glass or earthen container. It can
be used for plants or making folk medicines
Exactly at sunrise utter the first Mantra and after the word SWAHA add a few grains of rice (as
little as you can hold in the pinch of your fingers will suffice) to the fire.
Utter the second Mantra and after the word SWAHA add a few grains of rice to the fire.
This completes morning Agnihotra.
At sunset do the same by using evening Mantras. This completes evening Agnihotra
After each Agnihotra try to spare as many minutes as you can for meditation. You can sit at least
till the fire gets extinguished itself
24
PRECAUTIONS AF AGNIHOTRA FARMING:-
The exact timing must be maintained for individual yajna.
Only whole Kernel rice is used. Best when brown rice is used.
Only copper and gold pyramid can be used.
Only dried cow dung can be used.
Content should be mixed in proper ratio.
25
LIMITATIONS OF AGNIHOTRA FARMING:-
The spray solution must be sprayed little before flowering and later at
maturity stage.
Only dry ash should be sprayed as it will not interfere pollination.
There is no effect on weed.
SOME OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE OF AGNIHOTRA IN INDIA:-
TURMERIC &PUMPKIN
(Farm of Shri Arul Kartikeyan Pollachi , Dist: Coimbatore, TN)
Arul Kartikeyan is a bio-dynamic farmer in Coimbatore district. The whole
turmeric crop was affected by an insect infestation. After only one spray treatment
with Agnihotra ash water solution, the disease on the leaves cleared up completely.
The pumpkin crop was also heavily infested with insects. Again, after only one
spray with Agnihotra ash water solution, a large population of predator insects
appeared, bringing the situation under control.
26
27
COCONUT
(Farm of Shri Chinnaswamy Devansapudur, Pollachi, Dist:Coimbatore, TN)
Outbreak of nut infesting eriophyid mite in coconut plantations of South India
in 1999. First time reported in any Asian country. Extremely small sized fruits. Heavy
crop losses due to immature nut fall. After 6 months treatment with Homa Therapy
on the Chinnaswami farm, there was a complete cessation of falling immature nuts.
RICE
(Farm of Shri Soma Sundaram Pollachi, Dist:Coimbatore, TN)
With use of Homa Therapy techniques, one month after planting, rice
is completely free of disease.
Shri Sundaram reports that this is the best result he has seen since his
childhood. Taste is excellent.
28
29
WHEAT & BARLEY
(Farm of Shri Bhagwan Singh
Jhajhar, Dist:Navalgarh, Rajasthan)
Shri Bhagwan Singh
reports an excellent result with
both wheat and barley crops. Also
the farmers on the neighbouring
farms were very happy as the
Agnihotra and Homa Therapy
effect extended onto their farms
as well.
30
MILLET
("Tapovan", farm of Shri Abhay
V. Paranjpe, Tal: Parola,
Dist: Jalgaon, Maharashtra)
Many farms in Jalgaon
district, Maharashtra, suffered
extensive losses of the millet crop
due to an infestation of stem
borer.
Millet in Tapovan farm
where Agnihotra and Homa
Therapy techniques are practised ,
was completely free of any insect
problem.
31
COTTON
("Tapovan", farm of Shri Abhay V. Paranjpe Tal: Parola, Dist: Jalgaon, Maharashtra)
Cotton farms in Jalgaon district Maharashtra, use heavy doses of agro-
chemicals. Plants are large and green but with very few cotton bolls due to insect
attack .
Cotton plants in Tapovan farm where Agnihotra and Homa Therapy is
practised, are much smaller but heavily laden with cotton bolls .
TOMATO
(Farm of Shri Dhanalal Dist:Jaipur, Rajasthan)
The first planting of tomato on the Dhanalal farm was heavily
infested with tomato borer. All the farms in the area were infested. Heavy doses of
chemical insecticide were needed 3 times per week. After 2 weeks treatment with
Homa Therapy there was 70% improvement in crop.
Some severely diseased plants which were treated individually with Homa ash
gave extraordinarily high yields. The subsequent plantings after beginning Homa
Therapy treatment were not infested at all.
32
SOYA BEAN
(Farm of Prestige Foods Pvt Ltd Dewas, Dist:Indore, MP)
Using agro-chemicals the yield from the Prestige farm in year 2000 was 350 kg
per hectare.
Using Agnihotra and Homa Therapy farming techniques the yield in year 2001
was 2100 kg per hectare without irrigation.
Other farms in the area averaged 700 to 800 kg per hectare. Nearest best result
was 1200 kg per hectare.
Beans from Prestige farm were of superior colour. Roots of the plants from the
Prestige farm bore twice the number of nitrogen-fixing nodules as those from the
neighbouring farm.
33
34
VANILLA
(Farm of Shri Abhay Mutalik Desai Sutagatti, Dist:Belgaum, Karnataka)
Shri Desai reports that his first ever vanilla produce (1999-2000)
was of excellent quality and the best in India. The vanilla bean curing
process (three months) was started along with Homa Therapy
treatment. The matured vanilla beans were tested at Spice Board of
India testing laboratory in Cochin and the vanillin percentage by weight
was 2.91%, the highest in this growing season
YEAR PLACE % INCREASE BY WT.
1998 Ernanakulam, Kerala 2.56
1999 Myladumpara,Kerala 2.71

  • 3. WHAT IS AGNIHOTRA:- AGNIHOTRA is the science of HEALING the ATMOSPHERE through PYRAMID FIRES to eliminate POLLUTION & CONTAMINATION. It’s written in the Vedas that “HEAL THE ATMOSPHERE AND IT WILL HEAL YOU”. According to Vedas most of the nutrient comes from atmosphere. So we should focus on atmosphere. 3
  • 4. 4 Agnihotra homa It is most important and should be practised exactly at sunrise and sunset time daily. Vyahruti Homa It can be performed at any time except sunrise and sunset. It is also performed when commencing Om Tryambakam Homa. Om Tryambakam Homa It should be performed at least 4 hours every day. It should be performed for 24 hours on full moon and no moon days.
  • 5. CONTRIBUTION OF HOMA IN OUR LIFE:- The purification of the atmosphere, the soil, and waters The harmonisation of body, soul, and spirit & one's inner spiritual growth for general well being The restoration of ecological balance Strengthening the immune systems of man and animals The reduction of plant diseases and pests Gaining healthier and tastier nutrition which is highly energized and more compatible i.e. Digestible 5
  • 6. THE EFFECT OF AGNIHOTRA IS FELT ON:- the plant the soil the atmosphere the human being the water the animals the agriculture 66
  • 7. EFFECT OF AGNIHOTRA ON PLANT:- Plants develop leaf veins that are cylindrical and larger than normal. Production of chlorophyll is higher Promotes proper systems of oxygen cycles in nature. Greater array of cell structures. Excellent substance, taste, and colour; along with good seed size and seed quality. Bees are also attracted to the homa atmosphere & special hormone is secreted in the homa atmosphere which, consumed through the honey, strengthens the immune system in people. 7
  • 8. EFFECT OF AGNIHOTRA ON SOIL:- Increasing the availability of soluble nitrogen Stabilize the amounts of potash, nitrogen, and trace elements in it. Increases the amount of water-soluble phosphorus available to plants in the soil. This has a great effect on their growth and reproductive cycles. Consideration of the moon’s phases and rhythms, with which seeds are sown and planting is done also support the success of homa farming. Earthworms proliferate in this environment .Due to increases in their hormonal production; they distribute moisture in the soil and provide it with humus. 8
  • 9. EFFECT OF AGNIHOTRA ON ATMOSPHERE:- All in all, the Homa applications are a practical contribution to environmental protection because they purify the atmosphere and improve the quality of air, water, and soil. The effects of so-called subtle (vital) forces and energies on plants, as well as on humans and animals, could easily be proven if scientists pay attention to them. 9 K R I L I A N P H O T O G R A P H

  • 13. DIRECT USE OF AGNIHOTRAASH IN AGRICULTURE:- IMPREGNATIONS OF SEEDS AND BULBS 13 mixture of cow urine and water in a ratio of 50:50, to which up to 4 tablespoons of Agnihotra ash per 5 litres of solution are added and stirred. Seeds and bulbs should soak in this solution for 30-40 minutes. This strengthens the germinating plant and makes it more resistant to pests. Like cow dung, cow urine has antibacterial effects and provides a protective coating around the seeds and bulbs After this time of treatment, seeds are spread on filter paper, or other absorbent paper, to dry. They should be dry enough to spread, but moist enough so that the core of the seed doesn’t dryout. Bulbs may be planted immediately after being treated with the solution.
  • 14. FERTILIZERS  In addition, plants can be fertilized with a mixture of Agnihotra ash, stinging nettles, The stinging nettles are fermented i.e. decomposed in the water for 7-14 days, depending on weather conditions and the amount of nettles needed. This mixture should then be diluted to a solution with a ratio of 1:9 and filtered with a fine screen (sieve) into a spraying container or watering can. 14
  • 15. 15 PLANT NUTRIENT SOLUTION 4 tablespoons of Agnihotra ash and up to 4 tablespoons of pulverized, dried cow dung are stirred in approximately 5 litres of water and then applied to plants. This may be repeated every 14 days, depending on how much it is needed.
  • 16. 16 SPRAY SOLUTION A nutrient solution to be sprayed can be made by mixing up to 4 tablespoons of Agnihotra ash with 5 litres of water. This spray solution is left standing for 3 days and then filtered through a fine screen before it is used to protect plants against pests and diseases. A spray solution can also be made from certain fern blossoms, in which approximately 150 grams of the blossoms, mixed with 2 litres of water and 2 tablespoons of Agnihotra ash, are left standing to ferment for 7-10 days Filtered through a narrow-meshed screen and then finally distributed on the plants with a sprayer, this helps keep away pests such as snails.

  • 22. PROCEDURE OF AGNIHOTRA:- A FEW MINUTES BEFORE THE ACTUAL TIME OF SUNRISE AND SUNSET YOU SHOULD START TO PREPARE THE AGNIHOTRA FIRE AS FOLLOWS: 22 Place a flat piece of dried cow dung at the bottom of the copper pyramid. Arrange pieces of dried cow dung in the pyramid in such a manner as will allow air to pass Apply a little Ghee to a small piece of cow dung and light it. Insert this lighted piece of cow dung in the middle of the pyramid. Soon all the dung in the pyramid will catch fire. You may use a hand fan to blow the air and help the flame. However, do not blow on the fire so as to avoid bacteria from the mouth affecting the fire. You take a few grains of rice in a dish or your left palm and apply a few drops of ghee to them.
  • 23. 23 Just before the next Agnihotra collect the ash and keep it in a glass or earthen container. It can be used for plants or making folk medicines Exactly at sunrise utter the first Mantra and after the word SWAHA add a few grains of rice (as little as you can hold in the pinch of your fingers will suffice) to the fire. Utter the second Mantra and after the word SWAHA add a few grains of rice to the fire. This completes morning Agnihotra. At sunset do the same by using evening Mantras. This completes evening Agnihotra After each Agnihotra try to spare as many minutes as you can for meditation. You can sit at least till the fire gets extinguished itself
  • 24. 24 PRECAUTIONS AF AGNIHOTRA FARMING:- The exact timing must be maintained for individual yajna. Only whole Kernel rice is used. Best when brown rice is used. Only copper and gold pyramid can be used. Only dried cow dung can be used. Content should be mixed in proper ratio.
  • 25. 25 LIMITATIONS OF AGNIHOTRA FARMING:- The spray solution must be sprayed little before flowering and later at maturity stage. Only dry ash should be sprayed as it will not interfere pollination. There is no effect on weed.
