3. What is Corruption
The Word “Corrupt” literarily means ‘utterly broken.’
The word Corruption is a moral impurity! It may be
included many activities including bribery and
embezzlement. Government or Political Corruption
occurs when an officeholder or governmental
employee acts in an official capacity for personal gain.
20. Mafia Wars are Gun Battles that
include smuggling of arms, drugs,
illegal trafficking girls, liquor, opium,
tobacco and control over gambling,
clubs, mining, timber, infrastructure
contracts, sand, land grabbing, child

26. Corruption today can be called a malaise attached
to India. From getting the birth certificate to the
driving license to getting a loan passed to build the
home, nothing goes without giving a bribe.
27. It is Money! Money! Money! Everything today is for money’s
sake! No morals values left here for us to take. Eats his and
also wants others’ cake. Love and affection today became all
hoax. Value systems gone over the roof! “Pay money” so the
wrong becomes aloof. People treat Money like God and
adore it and to get it commit fraud.
28. The increasing corruption in India has increased
the frustration of the people. The citizens have
become so accustomed to it that the dividing lines
between the corrupt and non-corrupt are merging
India is having the best Constitution in the world
and changed over 80 times in the past 60 years! In
India there are many rules to follow! The
implementation of the Lokpal bill will look into the
officials indulging in corrupt practices at both state
and central level. Enforcing those laws would be
much harder, but that too can be done if there is
sufficient political will.
29. The point is not about the absence of suitable
laws; it is about the absence of integrity. The
hardworking Indian taxpayer’s money has
fueled the Swiss banks instead of fueling the
Indian economy which is a big shame!!

participate in our system for a bright future.
Rectify the situation and ameliorate all our
