2. Mods.
• Mod is a subculture that began in the United Kingdom in the 1960s and
spread, in varying degrees, to other countries and continues today on a
smaller scale.
• Peter Townsend co wrote the play/film quadrophenia which as all about
mod and rocker culture. The Who adopted the mod style in the mid to late
60s which drew in a wider target audience and subsided conflict between the
mods and the rockers.
3. Facts
• My music video will be based at men aged 20-40 because 84% of people
who read and buy rock based magazines are men and for that reason I will be
basing the majority of my music video at men but I will also take into
consideration the 16% of women who enjoy rock music.
4. Audience Image
These are examples of people who might listen to rock music. As you
can see they normally wear t-shirts of the bands they like with a jacket
over the top. The hair is messy and un kept to display their “I don’t
care” attitude.
