2. When I went to my old school, I’d walk home every day. One day I started to walk home, but I saw three kids playing on a rope swing on a plat of empty land. It was about five feet away from my school. There were kids who went to my school. They were in the fifth grade, and I was in the fourth grade. I didn’t know that those three kids would be my best friends. Their names were Jacob, Emily, and Kiana.
3. They had built an amazing rope swing. The place was huge and had many trees. It was more like a tiny forest. So when you swung, you went right in between two trees. You would go so high that you felt as if you were flying.
4. them. After school, we would I go to the rope swing. We would play, tell jokes, and play imaginary games. Hanging out with
5. One day towards the end of the year, the school district cut down the ropes wing. They did so, because the kids from after-school care kept going on it. When the school district cut down the rope swing, they cut our friendship. My friends graduated and went to the middle school.
6. A summer went by, and I forgot all about my lost friends. Uhh! Fifth grade, I was so worried and busy. When I walked past the lot, Id remember my old friends. 5th
7. I tried to rebuild the rope swing, but they cut down the rope swing and the branches. We needed the branches to climb up to the top branch, and tie the rope swing on. Fortanately, they didnt cut off the top branch.
8. I loved my new fifth grade class. I made new friends. One girl together. We became best friends. We played with each other at recess and sat next to each other in class. We would walk to the corner market and play at each other’s houses.
9. One day, we went to the horse barn across the street. Little did I know that Emily owned a horse there. Kelcey saw Splash’s and Emotion’s fence. It was broken. We ran to her house. Then went to Emily’s house. Emily’s house was across the street from Kelcey’s house. Emily and I were so happy to see each other. We had sleepovers almost every weekend. That’s how I met Kiana again. I thought that life could not get any better.
10. It was not until the summer before sixth grade that I meet Jacob. We four best friends were together again, along with our newest member, Kelcey. To this day, the five of us are still trying to rebuild the rope swing that created a long and wonderful friendship.
