Verses 3-4
As he neared Damascus
on his journey, suddenly a
light from heaven flashed
around him. He fell to the
ground and heard a voice
say to him, “Saul, Saul,
why do you persecute
me?”
Verses 5-6
‘Who are you, Lord?’ Saul
asked. ‘I am Jesus, whom
you are persecuting,’ he
replied. ‘Now get up and
go into the city, and you
will be told what you must
do.’
16. Acts 9:15-16
But the Lord said to him, ‘Go, for he is a

Israel. For I will show him how many things
he must suffer for my name’s sake.’

Jesus is the Son of God.’

people. The disciples were
called Christians first at
Antioch.’
23. Acts 13:2-3
As they ministered to the Lord and fasted,
the Holy Spirit said, ‘Now separate to Me

have fought the good fight, I have finished the race,
I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me
the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the
righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and
not to me only but also to all who have loved His
appearing.
44. Key Lessons

no control are not accidents.
2. God is more concerned about working in you
than about working through you.
3. God's timing is perfect, but is slower than our
expectations.
45. Key Lessons
4. We are called to ‘preach Christ’!
5. We need to trust that God is in control of our
lives even when things look bleak.
6. We should keep a vision of eternity ever
before us.
