FOUNDER ‘S DESK
It all began with a young ambitious boy with his highly interest in aviation.
His absolutely intention to make his mother proud, he started creating an
atmosphere for young Ghanaian and Africans to stop dreaming and start
flying. He believed that through unity and hard dreams can be fulfilled. On
Tuesday 19th august 2014 RUNWAY AVIATION CLUB was established.
The club seeks to encourage young people who have the passion, interest,
enthusiasm, determination to have a career in aviation either pilots, flight
engineering, flight attendant, flight maintenance etc. We meet to learn about
basic Aeronautical Knowledge including principles of flight, aircraft systems,
navigation, weather, weight and balance, airspace and aviation in
general. We can only achieve this our ambitious dreams of becoming the
future of aviation in Africa if we get the necessary funding, support advice and
motivation. Benevolent people who would like to support our goals are
welcomed. As the founder, I would like to say that: "This is a very great
investment that any benevolent individual, co-operate organization or
philanthropist can have since in the long run it will yield returns many
fold. Runway Aviation Club- ‘unity to achieve our dreams’.

OUR VISION
To create a platform for African individuals who have interest in
aviation to spring out the spirit of aviation in Africa through
motivation, determination and cultural values…
MISSION
To improve a platform for development of aviation through workshops,
seminars and career fairs in Africa.
To increase the awareness of aviation, career selectivity in Africa and
encourage them to believe in their own abilities and dreams.
To promote and market about the aviation industry, the latest news and
what is happening in the industry, to bring some renowned people from the
industry to speak to our members.
To create a network and opportunities for members to build their aviation
careers.
To also provide flight training, flight planning facilities, pilot supplies and
associated services, as well as organizing social functions in the future.

The club
Runway Aviation Club Inc. is a nonprofit or not-for-profit entity (e.g.,
corporation, association, or partnership) organized for the express
purpose of providing its members with aviation supplies and associated
services, for their personal use and enjoyment only. All members of the
Club shall comply with all Federal Aviation Regulations, state, airport, and
Club rules while operating Club aircraft.

MEMBERSHIP
Membership in Runway Aviation Club is contingent upon approval of
the Application for membership by the Board of Directors and such
membership may be revoked by the Board of Directors.
The applicable initiation fee, membership ID card, and current dues
must be paid in full before a membership application can be approved.
When any member is in default in the payment of dues for any type of
membership may be terminated by the Board of Directors.

Membership in the Club is a voluntary privilege. The number of members in
the club is unlimited. Membership in the Club is provisional and may be
terminated
by the Board of Officers at any time with or without cause. Any member
whose
membership in the club is terminated shall, upon return of the aircraft
deposit, have no
recourse against the Club, any member, or any Officer of the Club.

SHORT TERM GOALS:
To learn, share ideas on aeronautical knowledge and build our confidence
levels.
Organizing seminars, workshops, careers fairs and aviation programs to
increase our knowledge in the industry.
Inviting flying club and schools abroad to train our members in to acquire
hang gliding and paragliding license.
And to appeal to benevolent individuals, aviation organizations and
philanthropist who support our goals for support.
LONG TERM GOALS
Have an opportunity of traveling as a group to airshows ,aviation
conferences abroad to increase our perspective of our industry.

To provide flight training to our members and new members to get their
gliding license, sport pilot certificate, Recreational Pilot certificate and private
pilot certificate.
In the form of giving back to the society, Runway Foundation is will be
introduce to provide social-economic projects.
With our resources gathered, a pilot shop will be set-up to serve the country
and Africa as a whole.
To serve Africa with the best aviation history and artifacts, an aviation
museum will be open in partnership with the various authorities and similar
clubs.
