 Saves Energy upto 60 % out of total energy
consumed by the railways
 Light Weight
 Less Material Handling
Marketing Mix (4 P’s)
P – Product
 A Power saver switch which will be installed
beneath the seats of Local Train.
 It will get activated as soon as there is a
weight of 10kgs and above over it.
P – Price
• We Intend to follow the Cost Plus pricing
strategy because the product is newly
innovated and is distributed directly to the
consumer (No Intermediaries Involved).
Selling Price of our product is Rs.1000 per
switch.
P – Place
• Product will be manufactured in our warehouse
near Kurla and will be directly supplied to the
consumers.

P – Promotion
• Personal Selling by company’s representative
to the buyer .

No. of Switch’s per Bogey : 52
No. of Switch per Train : 52*15 = 784(Including 4 Motorman)
No. of Fan’s per Bogey : 42
No. of Fan’s per Train : 42*15 = 634 (Including 4 Motorman)

Sampling Calculation (100 Train)
No. of Switches : 784*100 = 78,400
No. of Fans : 634*100 = 63,400
So, Cost of Switches : 78400*800 = 6,27,20,000
Calculation (1300 Train)
No. of Switches : 784*1300 = 10,19,200
No. of Fans : 634*1300 = 8,24,200
So, Cost of Switches : 10,19,200*1000 = 101,92,00,000

Total Cost of 1400 Trains
100 Trains + 1300 Trains = 1400 Trains
6,27,20,000 + 101,92,00,000 = 108,19,20,000
