2. About Karen DeSoto
 A resident of New Jersey, Karen DeSoto received her
Juris Doctorate in Law from Temple University.
 She has served as a public defender, prosecutor, attorney
in private practice, and was the first woman, first
Hispanic, and youngest person to ever serve as
Corporate Counsel for the city of Jersey City, NJ.
 She is an on-air legal analyst / commentator for NBC
News, and appears on several NBC shows on MSNBC,
the Today Show, and appeared on CNN, ABC News and
others.
 She is a professor at New Jersey City University, having
previously been an assistant professor at Fairleigh
Dickinson University.
