Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is one of the systems which is effective in different areas, whether they be industrial or medical etc.,

(remote) data sources by using a standard thin client
web browser. When you apply this concept to LIMS, a
user can log on to the system database by starting a
browser and accessing the correct URL. After
authentication, the interface allows the user to submit
requests/samples. A confirmation can be sent to the
user directly through e-mail wherever necessary.

is the common laboratory systems for any laboratory
developed by a group of ShCT Information
Technology bachelor students. It is effective in
different areas, whether they be industrial or medical
etc., this depends on the area in which we want to
organize its laboratories with high accuracy.
4. LIMS is common industrial application software
developed by ShCT students that allows user to
effectively manage samples and associated data
to improve lab efficiency. By using a LIMS, the lab
can automate workflows, integrate instruments,
and manage samples and associated information.
Labs using LIMS boost their level of
professionalism and their ability to meet customer
demand in two ways.
6. 2.1.1.1 Log in Page :
1. The system should allow analyzers to login to the system
using their username and password.
2.The system should allow admin from both side (IT and
Lab) to login to the system using their username and
password.
3. The system shall allow the IT admin to create new user
account.
4. The system shall allow all users to change account
password.
5. The system shall allow all users to recover the password.
6. The system shall allow all users to logout.

- The system allow the users to choose the sector (Cast
House , Reduction, Carbon) .

- The system allow the analyzer to manage requests
page (Add, Update, Delete, View, Show Sample,
Clear).
2.1.1.4 Sample Management Page :
- The system allow the analyzer to manage samples
page (Add, Update, Delete, View, Print Label, Show
Result, Clear).

- The system allow the analyzer to filter by different categories
like :
*Cast Number .
* Request Code.
* Request Creation (Day, Month, Year) .
* Request Status.

2.1.1.6 Result Page :
1.The system allow the analyzer to view the result of each
sample.
2.The system allow the analyzer to manually add the result
value.
3.The system allow the analyzer to save the result.
4.The system allow the analyzer to send the result to next
system (MES).
