Select iSight camera icon save as Quicktime Quicktime will provide more options than the “share” option - but “Share” can publish direct to you tube. Click on “Capture” edit (if required) note - iMovie will provide better quality than Photobooth

Mac screen shots will be in PNG format Save them as .jpg from the “ Preview” software.

15. iTunes is set up to convert files to Apple’s AAC format This can be changed in the preferences. Choose mp3 for audio for most Learning Platforms Converting for Audio for playback on hand held devices eg. Phone or iPod/mp3 player iTunes can provide basic file conversions to change the format go to the preferences in iTunes. How do I know what a file format something is in iTunes? If the file is outside iTunes - simply highlight it and click CMD/I - This will give you info about any file.
