3. Text; Luke 10; 1-5
 After this things the Lord appointed other seventy
also, and sent them two and two before his face into
every city and place, whither he himself would
come. Therefore said he unto them, "the harvest
truly is great, but the laborers are few; pray ye
therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would
sent forth laborers into His harvest. Go your, way,
behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
Carry naightier purse, nor Crip, nor shoes; and
salute no man by the way. And whosoever house
you enter, first say, peace be to this house. And if
the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest
upon it if not your peace shall turn to you as well.


As we stand on the brink of a new year, we wonder what the
future holds. Most of us probably approach a milestone like this
with a combination of excitement and a bit of apprehension.
After all, we have just passed through the most tumultuous
century in human history. It included two world wars, the rise
and fall of Christian faith, the advent of radio, television, the
telephone, computers, and the Internet. One hundred years ago
the automobile and the airplane were just being invented. Today
we send satellites to explore the universe. Because of the
communications revolution, the world has truly become a global
village. Through the magic of the Internet, you can push a button
and send an e-mail that will go from your computer to a computer
in a village in less than 30 seconds. Are we prepared to face 2014?
Are we equip with the knowledge we need? Do we know our
mission why God allowed us to reach 2014?

Negative side- some of our members stop and transfered to
another church. Our love ones died and we are emotionally
affected. There were lots of calamities happened in our
country. Thyphoon Pablo in new bataan Compostella
Valley, Earth quake in Bohol and super typhoon yolanda in
Tacloban City that caused damages both in properties,
livelihood and lives. One of our family members maybe
went to another country and we will missed them.
Positive-Yet, there were lots of victories that curves within
our hearts that it will be a great help as we face the new
year which is about to come. Some of our members got
married, kids, new business was opened, bought a land,
car, build a house, promoted in their job, returned of the old
members and God added a new members that we have
with us today and many more.

6. I am not a prophet but I am sure we will all walk on
rocky roads before this year is done.
 Let us prepare our hearts that some of our beloved
love ones will leave us either by life or by death this
year, New challenges of life, success and failures,
encouragement and discouragement, push and a fall
and many more.


7. What was the intention of Jesus why he sent
the 72 disciples by two’s?
 Two by two or pairing of His disciple was designed
by Christ in order for us to think and face
whatever challenges of life that awaits ahead
together. We are not alone. God has appointed
some one to be our partner, as our co laborer, co
worker as we fulfill our mission for the year 2014.


8. "the harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few;
pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he
would sent forth laborers into His harvest
 A; urgent need- harvest is great.
 B; The problems to that need- laborers are few


C; the solution of that Problems- the disciple will pray and volunteer to do the
work. We must ask the Lord of the harvest to put and touch our hearts to be
passionate for the lost soul.

Go your, way, behold, I send you forth as lambs
among wolves. Carry niethier purse, nor Crip,
nor shoes; and salute no man by the way.
Matthew 10;16 behold, I sent you forth as sheep
in the midst of the wolves; be ye therefore wise as
serpents and harmless as doves.
A; Lambs- willing to sacrifice.
 B; Serpent-wise, wisdom
 C; wolves- tears among the wheat
 D; Doves-Purity, lifestyle

When we go towards our

if not your peace shall turn to you as well. I kings
19;14,19 “.. The children of Israel forsaken thy
covenant, thrown down thy altar and slain thy
prophet by the sword and am only one left.
V 19 yet I left 7000 in Israel that their knees not bow
down in Israel and their lips not kissed Baal.
Man of peace will welcome and help us.

have a mission”
Today let us do our mission that was given by
God before this years ends.
