 Energy industry professional Joshua “Josh” Neale Wolcott
currently serves as the Director of Operations at Cimarron
Resources Inc., where he utilizes his extensive management
experience in oil development projects throughout the
United States. Joshua Neale Wolcott has assisted Cimarron
with lease management, drilling, and well operations for
other companies, and he is currently helping his firm
evaluate projects in the Williston Basin. Based in Denver,
Colorado, he is an avid outdoorsman in his free time and
enjoys skiing, biking, hiking, and rock climbing.

 When beginning rock climbing, it is crucial to seek competent
instruction to learn how to climb safely. Take a class, or seek out
an experienced private instructor; starting indoors to master the
basics is a great idea. This can also provide you with a list of
needed equipment and the knowledge to maintain and use it
safely. For fun and to increase endurance, you can even build
your own climbing wall at home in your garage or backyard.
Beginners may be surprised to learn that lower body strength is
the most important element to climbing. Overusing the upper
body to support body weight will make a climber tire much
faster. Remember to use your hands mostly for balance, and keep
your heel lower than your toes. This will help provide your body
the support it needs from the legs.
