Paradise Lost is a Gamification project to help solve the growing water pollution in Bali.
Surf tourists are the players and they help make Bali clean; provide information to surfers about where to have a clean surf and try to win the fun interactive game by uploading photos of polluted beaches.
Note: this is just a small project proposal, Indosurflife has not yet agreed in anyway to incorporate this into their website. The suggestions made in the presenjtation are entirely my own.

your surf board.
At later stages you can buy Paradise Lost surf bags, boards, natural wax and other merchandise. Later stages
may include Australia, Hawaii, Sri Lanka and Europe.
9. The Bigger Story
The quest to find Paradise Lost again is a quest with multiple levels of social calling to keep players
captivated also for the long run (not just extrinsic motivators)
• Safe the environment in Bali (and possible for the world): increase awareness
• Improve the water quality for you and your co-surfers: steer people away from dirty beaches
• Help active NGOs to do more against Waste Mismanagement: Indosurflife donates part of increased
ad sales to Green NGOs in Bali
During Onboarding the players will be told a story about the good old days by a Balinese Priest. Then
Kelly Slater (top surf pro) will tell us how dramatic the situation is now. The player is then called to act!
Regular updates are shown on how the players actions are helping Bali right now!
A mentor guides the novice player in developing the right skills to play the game (uploading,
commenting, adding friends, redeeming rewards. In return the mentor will get a Rare Badge.
Further game interaction to be developed at later stage (architecture)
