Jonathan Levin, Jon Matonis & Eitan Jankelewitz are our panellists.
They are experts in the use of Bitcoin and other crypto currencies
and will be explaining how such systems work, their use in internet
gambling, the benefits and the risks.
Advertising Standards Agency
A speaker from the ASA will update us on the latest thinking in
relation to socially responsible gambling advertising, giving
examples of adverts that crossed the line and the ASA’s agenda for
the future

What’s happening at the EC including the expansion of Anti-
Money Laundering controls
As consultant with Instinctif Partners based in Brussels, Pierre
Tournier is ideally placed to inform us where the EC is going with
internet gambling & to assess the impact of the forthcoming
extension of AML obligations across the gambling spectrum.
Security reality of internet gambling
Long-time member Helmut Kafka will provide an insightful
presentation on the darker side of the internet highlighting some
methods used in unlicensed gambling and the risks involved.
Expect to be surprised and unnerved!

Jonathan Levin
Jonathan is a digital currency consultant. He was the CEO and co-founder of Coinometrics, a data
analytics company for digital currencies, offering risk management tools to enhance Bitcoin as a payment
2. system. Prior to this, he was a postgraduate economist at the University of Oxford where his research
focused on Virtual Currencies, creating one of the first statistical models of Bitcoin transaction fees.
Jon Matonis
An e-Money researcher and crypto economist focused on expanding the circulation of nonpolitical digital
currencies, Jon advises startups in Bitcoin, gaming, mobile and prepaid. A tech contributor to Forbes
Magazine and CoinDesk, Jon is also Editor of The Monetary Future – a leading economics blog at the
intersection of free banking, cryptography and digital currency. Previously CEO of Hushmail and Chief
Forex Trader at VISA, Jon has held senior posts at Sumitomo Bank and VeriSign.
Eitan Jankelewitz
Eitan is an IP lawyer at Sheridans specialising in ecommerce and technology. He works with a range of
bitcoin businesses and has formed part of a number of delegations to discuss bitcoin with UK government
departments and regulators, including HMRC. He is a founder member and director of the UK Digital
Currency Association.
Pierre Tournier
Pierre provides legal & policy advice to, & represents online gambling clients in their dealings with EU
institutions and Member States’ authorities. He manages the Brussels office of the Remote Gambling
Association (RGA) and advises them on internal market. He also does work for operators, technology
suppliers, & regulatory authorities at EU & Member State level. Prior to joining Instinctif Partners in 2010,
he worked in the NGO sector on justice & home affairs.
Helmut Kafka
Helmut Kafka is president of the Austrian Automatenverband.at association and Vice President of Au. He
is closely involved with the business and development of the gaming and amusement industry in Austria
and several other countries for over 30 years. He has a particular interest in technology and the internet.

Tube - Closest underground station is Russell Square (Piccadilly Line), 3 minutes walk from De Morgan
House. Also within walking distance is Holborn station (Central, Piccadilly lines) and Euston (Victoria,
Northern, National Rail).
Bus - Russell Square is serviced by many major bus routes including 68, 168, 188 and 91.
Rail - De Morgan House is close to three mainline railway stations: Euston, Kings Cross and St Pancras.
In addition, due to our central location all other central London railway stations are only a short tube
journey away.
Car - Please be aware that De Morgan House is inside the central London congestion zone and there
is only metered street parking in the area.
