The Global Arena of International Business:
How to Grow Capital for your Business
Owning nine wireless franchises in the New York Area means I have some specialization in this
topic.
The Global Arena
The Global Arena includes social media platforms, and it’s imperative for any business looking
to do business on a global scale to utilize social media – let alone any business wishing to thrive
in our digital fast-paced world.
Streamlining online sources provides multiple forms of communication between the business and
potential consumers. Sources like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram add various outlets and
various mediums to distribute information about your business for consumers. In addition to
social media platforms, smaller business can use crowdfunding sites to fund less expensive
initiatives or expansions.
Using social media to connect with businesses running parallel to services you offer provides
another possibility. If you provide hand-crafted wooden toys for little ones, you might find a
“partner” providing children’s clothing or furniture to market some of your products together, or
run contests, etc. This allows sharing of fees and brings customers for each business to view both
company’s products.
Presence and Demographics
Part of establishing a business in the Global arena is creating a professional presence on online
platforms recognizable and intriguing to an online market. Alternate forms of media like audio
and video provide easily accessible and worthy investments to foster brand awareness with the
public.
Knowing demographics makes advertising a growing business pay higher dividends. Targeting
an audience demographic requires research and education to discover the selling points and
interests of your target audience.
Spend time learning about what worked for your company in the past, what works for your
competitors, what current marketing trends work well in your industry and then begin
strategizing. Never just throw a bunch of stuff at the wall waiting for something to stick. Yes,
you’ll need to test and refine your efforts, but the more you understand important details, the
quicker you’ll get to the golden ticket branding and advertisements.
Branding
Branding your product in a creative and familiar way helps catch the eye of the consumer and
partners. Successful branding comes from knowing two things: your consumer demographic and
potential partners helping the company grow. The more consumers, the more attractive a
business becomes to other businesses looking for partnerships, affiliations, and investments.
Making the CEO part of the brand adds another dimension to branding sometimes. The CEO is
the face of a business and making him or her the centerpiece gives partners and consumers
someone to focus on as a leader.
When using the right blend of tools – smart business tactics and research, help entrepreneurs find
a path toward success.
