5th Sermon of 2019.... On this Trinity Sunday, we remember that God is always with us... focusing on the Holy Spirit today, we remember He is still with us and will be with us for all time...
6. John 16: 12-15
16:12 "I still have many things to say to
you, but you cannot bear them now.
16:13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he
will guide you into all the truth; for he will
not speak on his own, but will speak
whatever he hears, and he will declare to
you the things that are to come.
16:14 He will glorify me, because he will
take what is mine and declare it to you.
16:15 All that the Father has is mine. For
this reason I said that he will take what is
mine and declare it to you.
8. How did the disciples take it?
???!
They did not understand.. But they had hope… in the right
time, they can be encouraged… in tough times…
9. How then shall we live?
Trusting God:
“As the Spirit guides…”
We discern, listen, watch for and trust God to reveal himself
through the Holy Spirit
10.
11. Quick contemplation…
How about us today?
The Helper is already with us… do we depend on Him?
When doing God’s work? Our work?
Looking after ourselves? Others?
Trust and Obey!
12. We will never learn everything….but He is
faithful… let the Holy Spirit work… we just go
along with the flow
Remember, He
always points us to
Christ, whom shows
us who is the Father
13. How then shall we live …?
No secret formula….
But traditional practices….
Enhance our reception
Are we good soil?

He is with us on an ongoing journey. The rest is due to the refuge we have in Him travelling with us.
Not an oasis, but a leader/companion
