“Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde”
   Autor : Robert Louis Stevenson

Abstract (Chapter 1 – 6)
This story is about an evil and enigmatic man called Mr. Hyde.
Mr. Hyde was a very bad person; He used to have strange and
dangerous behaviors. Two of the worst things he did through his life were
the murder of a man, and the ill-treated of a girl who had fallen down on
the street, because of these facts and other suspects situations around
Mr. Hyde life. Lawyer John Utterson carried out a research about him. He
found some things that were really strange for instance: Mr. Hyde was going to receive an enormous
heritage from Dr Jekyll, a respectable citizen who lived in the same town, moreover there was a cheque
signed by Mr. Hyde, which purpose was to compensate the girl ill-treated, but Hyde’s signature was very
similar to Jekyll’s one.

MAIN IDEAS
Chapter 7
☻ Mr. Utterson asked to him doctor Jekyll on Hyde, but not received a satisfactory explanation and finally,
doctor Jekyll gives a letter to him (it was signed by Hyde) directed for Mr. Utterson.
☻ Mr. Utterson read a letter written with a font that was well known for him.

Chapter 8
☻ Dr Lannyon (Dr Jekyll’s old friend) was very sick and he didn’t want to see Dr Jekyll again.
☻Dr Lannyon gave an envelope to Mr. Utterson, however he didn’t open the envelope until Dr. Jekyll died
or disappeared, and Dr Lannyon died with a terrible secret.

Chapter 9
☻Mr. Utterson and Enfield went to the house of doctor Jekyll, because they wished to know if Jekyll were
well and perhaps to help it to leave a prolonged confinement.
☻Jekyll was in his house, but refused to leave with them and not even it allowed that his Utterson friend
approached to him.

Chapter 10
☻The crew member of Jekyll and Mr. Utterson enter a room in which Jekyll made its experiments, in that
place found a strange substance, and in addition Utterson saw a letter left by his old friend.

☻Utterson walked until its house and there he read two letters in which Jekyll comments that it was going
to disappear and mentions his Lannyon friend.

Chapter 11
☻Dr. Lannyon explained in a letter the reasons for which did not want to ret to see nor to listen Dr. Jekyll
again.
☻ Jekyll was transformed by the liquid stranger that he invented. From then he begins to commit so many
errors that finally Utterson discovered that Jekyll and Hyde were the same person.

Chapter 12
☻Jekyll tried to eliminate the diabolic side of its soul during all his life, he wanted to be good but that was
not possible.

FINAL ALTERNATIVE
Dr. Jekyll only disappears being Mr. Hyde, nevertheless, I fodder that Hyde is not the true person in
charge by the perverse acts, Dr Jekyll left Mr. Hyde became strong, and that is to say he was friendly with
the evil, by that reason he had to pay.
The end that I propose is the following one: Dr. Jekyll cannot produce the liquid turned that it into the
bloodthirsty Hyde, Jekyll was weak and ill and he needed to Hyde, but Hyde was not going to never return.
Suddenly, Utterson entered the house of Jekyll and like him it was convinced that Jekyll was an
abominable beast kills him without compassion; thus the lawyer finishes for always with that one
dangerous doctor.
