2. Battlefield 1
Battlefield 1 is a first person
shooter made by EA set in the
bloody conflict of ww1 released
on October 21st 2016 its art
style is a photo realistic style as
it try's to make the characters
look as real as possible. as it go's
for a photorealistic style of
graphics it can make us feel
more of a conation with the
character if they seam real in
both look and how they act

5. Game content
• The game is split up in to two parts, the single player campaign set
in the war to end all wars as it shows the conflict and its effects on
solders and it shows the bravery of the men in that conflict and the
sacrifices they did for their country's a game set out to pay them
respect the multiplayer is almost the same but the campaigns is
swap out for the fast past frantic shooting of battlefield as you fight
other players in ww1 battlefields doing a tone of different mods
where you and your team must work together to win the game if
you win by completing the games win conditions you get xp with
levels you up and when you level up you get in game money to
spend on weapons or other gear as this is a battlefield game most
to all the endorsement can be destroyed this makes the flow of the
map very flexible as destroying a house or even a sandbag can be
very important to the map.
6. Strengths and weaknesses
The strengths of battlefields 1 are many things one of them are the
maps massive maps that give you that’s feeling of large scale war
where everything on the map has a place and has resion to be there
both in gameplay and in the narrative environment and the gameplay
means unlike other shooters theirs a resion to use all the weapons as
they all have there own use. The graphics are amazing and are
photorealistic in most to all cases as all characters look real and many
of the missions are very well made as there all different so that the
game stays challenging
The wakens of battlefield 1 is that it slightly hard to get into in as it Is
very heavily relying on people having a understanding of the game
series as a hole as if you haven't played one before is kind of hard to
understand what to do and that might make people not want to play
it. As this is battlefield most of the game is multiplayer centric meaning
that to get the full experience you need to be online witch if your on
xbox one or ps4 costs to play
7. battlefield and its genre
• For the most part battlefield 1 is like every other
shooter to come out the past 10 years but it differs in
the most important parts setting and technology as it is
the first triple A game about ww1 to come out it has a
lot of distinguishing features in the gameplay to make
it the same as most shooters but different enough to
make it feel new unlike all the other first person
shooters this game is 100% set in reality as everything
used in the game was real so there's no things like lock
on or heat seeking as is not right for the time as you
can see the two images of battlefield using real life
weapons and adding them in to the game
8.
9. Battlefield1 v battlefield4
• Both have the same gameplay and very similar
graphics but there are some key differences that
make the game different experiences.
In battlefield 1 you use ww1 weapons but
battlefield 4 you use modern weapons so combat is
very different as bf4 has a have enfances on assault
rifles and modern tanks and gagets when bf1 is
more haverly charge tank and plane combat as
taking points with tanks is easier with a charge as
tanks are very early in development
10. Battlefield 1 final verdict
As this game is almost 2 months old the game
has ben getting very high praise from game
magazines and critics as most people say it’s a
9/10 I think it is this as battlefield has amazing
gameplay and amazing story but doing this
without disrespecting the vets of ww1 and gets
a 3 points nailed down and I feel that people like
a change of pace from the al the sci-fi games
that where coming out

• “The Battlefield series has not been known for
the quality of its single-player in recent years,
so Battlefield 1’s campaign is a nice change of
pace. The way each story juggles charm and
tragedy in equal measure helps humanize the
war and the people that fought it with quiet”,
I have seen a lot of reviews like this as most to
all critics are saying this game is 9/10 . in my
opinion this is the best first person shooter ever
12. Game engines
• “Battlefield 1 marks the arrival of another title with DirectX 12 support – sort of. The game still supports DirectX 11, and thus
Windows 7 and 8, but makes efforts to shift Dice and EA toward the new world of low-level APIs. This move comes at a bit of
a cost, though; our testing of Battlefield 1 has uncovered some frametime variance issues on both nVidia and AMD devices,
resolvable by reverting to DirectX 11. We'll explore that in this content.
• In today's Battlefield 1 benchmark, we're strictly looking at GPU performance using DirectX 12 and DirectX 11, including the
recent RX 400 series, GTX 10 series, GTX 9 series, and RX 300 series GPUs. Video cards tested include the RX 480, RX 470, RX
460, 390X, and Fury X from AMD and the GTX 1080, 1070, 1060, 970, and 960 from nVidia. We've got a couple others in
there, too. We may separately look at CPU performance, but not today”. http://www.gamersnexus.net
• Announced just two months ago, Battlefield 1 is now available to select users in alpha form across all three major gaming
platforms. In typical DICE fashion, what we have here feels like a genuine alpha test as opposed to a marketing demo so of
course, you can expect some rough edges. We've spent time with the PC version already but, now that the console version is
out in the wild, we've been able to put all three versions to the test. The results are certainly interesting.
• The key discussion point surrounding this alpha is one of performance - Battlefield 1 targets 60 frames per second on both
consoles just like the last three DICE titles, but in its current form, it's not quite there. There are two modes in this alpha -
conquest and domination - and each one offers a very different performance profile. Domination focuses on a smaller,
infantry based skirmishes. Limited to just 24 players, we found that both consoles had little difficulty hitting and maintaining
the target frame-rate. Conquest, on the other hand, is a very different story, calling to mind the performance challenges
faced by the previous Battlefield titles: BF4 and Hardline.
• Focusing on large scale 64-player battles with lots of destruction, Conquest is the heart of Battlefield, and also the most
demanding on hardware. At this stage in development, neither console is able to maintain a stable level of performance in
this mode. Moving across the battlefield with light combat is enough to incur dips into the 40s while the busier sections can
drop into the 30s - especially on PlayStation 4. While the two are very similar in terms of performance, it's clear that Sony's
platform is currently the one struggling the most with frame-rate - and of course, it's the PS4 that has the lower level of CPU
performance.

• Form the sources shown here we can see the experience on pc and Xbox are very much the same but a few differences in
how both information is lad out as the first shows the graphic card and the second talks about console and running the
game
13. Gaming addiction
• “anyone who has experienced it knows all too well – video game addiction is real. Although
gaming addiction is not yet officially recognized as a diagnosable disorder by the American
Medical Association, there is increasing evidence that people of all ages, especially teens and
pre-teens, are facing very real, sometimes severe consequences associated with compulsive
use of video and computer games”. www.video-game-addiction.org/
• Gaming addiction can be dangerous as many
people in Asia have died in computer cafes
playing games like world of Warcraft as of
2013 gaming addition was named a mental
interment/disorder
14. Extra
Battlefield1 has the one of the best original
soundtracks of all time this helps with how ist so
popular as the music makes every moment that
more special even if it’s the wining kill in a game
of deathmatch it gives emotion to thing that
without music we wouldn't care about
