The document summarizes Jody Owens' experiences with various technology assignments in a class. It discusses her enjoyment creating a blog about her wedding planning, her addiction to Twitter, learning to customize web browsers, disliking using Google Docs but liking its collaboration features, finding Sumo Paint uninteresting but enjoying seeing others' creations, and hating having to personalize Coursecast assignments.
2. I enjoyed creating my blog
named “Jody’s Wedding
Story”. It followed the
planning of my wedding and
then the wedding. I loved
sharing the stories with my
class ,as well as reading other
blogs that the other
classmates had created. I
found some very interesting
information about some
classmates that I did not
know, but was intrigued by
since I have had classes with
most of them throughout my
degree program. It was really
an opportunity to get to know
each other better.

3. I absolutely fell in love
with Twitter the minute I
joined and began
Tweeting. I was addicted
in the first hour!
Although, I have not
figured it all out yet, I am
learning more and more
each time I use it. The
special features we
incorporated with it was
also neat. Such as
Delicious, Flickr, WeFollow
, and Reuters.

4. GOOGLE & BING
SEARCH
I enjoyed learning how to
navigate around the Web
browsers and how to set
them with my bookmarks. I
knew how before to set my
bookmarks; however, I did
not know how to use the
RSS feeds and what sites to
use to search for things of
my interest. I have learned
so much about how to
customize my browsers to
have a more meaningful
experience when doing my
homework or just playing
around.

5. GOOGLE DOCS ASSIGNMENT
I did not care very much for the Google Docs assignment. The reason being
was probably because I am so used to using Microsoft Office and all of its
features that I just could not seem to enjoy Google Docs. I found that it was
very difficult to type; it seemed as if the program could not keep up with
what I was wanting to do. I do understand that some people may not have
the money to purchase software and that this may be a better solution for
them; however, for myself and the benefits for my use, I do not plan to use
it anymore. I did like the collaboration part and I hope that I can maybe use
that feature again one day if necessary without having to edit straight from
the program.

6. Sumo Paint was not one
of my favorite
assignments;
although, it was
interesting to find out
about it. I am not
How cool is
usually artistic, or into this Sumo
creative projects, so this Elephant?
was not something that
kept my attention very
well. However, I did
enjoy looking at some of
the creations of others.

7. I absolutely hated doing the Coursecast assignments. I do
understand that it was very beneficial to my understanding
and keeping up with technology news, though, I did not like
it. The thing I hated most about it was trying to make it
mine. I am not very good at taking large words and turning
them into to my own. I also thought that with all of the
other assignments we had to do, it was demanding and
time consuming to get this particular assignment
completed.
