Pictures from the last Month:
Oh how the summer has flown by! It is an exciting time in the classroom as we welcome
back our summer travelers with their many stories to tell. We are also welcoming several
new children into the classroom and look forward to getting to know them and their families.
We have also started a Kindergarten Countdown for those eagerly waiting to head off to
kindergarten.
The month of July had us exploring the beautiful grounds of Kendal as we studied nature.
Our main focus was on bumble bees. We took several trips around campus to observe them
at work. We also had a guest bee keeper and several parents come in to share their
knowledge of the subject. The children have also been busy working on bee costumes so that
they can pretend to be busy little bees. We are documenting our many discoveries on the
bulletin board outside the classroom, so please take the time to check it out.
