True belief
Two conditions must apply before anyone can claim to have
knowledge: truth and belief
Rocks are hard
you cannot know this unless:
the statement rocks are hard is true
you believe that rocks are hard
There has to be “truth” and “belief ” . You don’t believe in the
tooth fairy.
