Since 2012 Jay C. Dougall has served as a financial advisor with Waddell & Reed in Wilmington, North Carolina. As someone who strives to help others in the community, Jay C. Dougall spent three years on the board of Phoenix Employment Ministry, which in September 2015 merged with Hometown Hires to become Phoenix Hometown Hires.

2.  Since 2012 Jay C. Dougall has served as a financial
advisor with Waddell & Reed in Wilmington, North
Carolina. As someone who strives to help others in the
community, Jay C. Dougall spent three years on the
board of Phoenix Employment Ministry, which in
September 2015 merged with Hometown Hires to
become Phoenix Hometown Hires.
In October 2002 Reverend Don Skinner founded
Phoenix Employment Ministry to help those in need
find jobs in the Wilmington area. Over the years, it
evolved to include employment placement and life
skills training to assist individuals in becoming more
independent.

3.  Hometown Hires helped people living at or below
the poverty line find jobs with local employers.
Since the merger, Phoenix Hometown Hires has
continued the mission of its predecessors by
providing employment opportunities and training
to residents of Wilmington and the surrounding
area. In 2015 it placed 104 applicants into jobs and
amassed more than 3,600 volunteer hours.
During the first quarter of 2016, 102 people
participated in the organization’s Jobs Week
program; 89 graduated, and 47 secured
employment.
