 Policies should formulate for hospital
operation. Policies are established with in the
department to guide the nursing Staff Ex duty
change, charting nurse’s notes. Policies are
revised and reviewed at regular intervals after
consultation with those concerned with
implementation of polices.

 Nursing Practice Manuals:
 Written Manuals are available for the
evidences of standards of performance for
safe and effective care procedures are
reviewed and revised at regular intervals after
consulting concerned with implementation of
procedures.

 A Nursing Services Budget:
 This for accounting term. Its one segment of
the overall hospital budget The budget is
concerned For, salary supplies and expenses
equipment and capital expenditure steps
involved in preparation of the budget
includes analyzing past operational and
anticipating factors which affect future
 Plans for appraisal of Nursing:
 There are more techniques for the
continuous evaluation of care such as ward
conferences nursing rounds analysis of
accidental reports Patients opinion the
nursing audit
 Nursing Services Administrative Meetings:
Regular Meetings with representatives will
help in planning and evaluation. Records of
these meeting include reports of decisions
and recommendations and help to assure that
recommendation will be considered and
administrative decision will be reported
 Advisory Committees: These committees are
advisory to the DGHS after carefully weighing
the advices of the committees she makes the
final decision. Records are kept and channels
of reporting recommendations are knows to
all members Members are informed of action
taken on their recommendations.
 Adequate facilities Supplies and equipments:
Representatives evaluates periodically the
adequacy of facilities of patients and
personnel needs she requested the need of
new facilities in discussion with
administrators when necessary justifies these
with documented evidences .

 Written job description and Job specifications:
Written job description help prevention and
duplication of functions Qualification for each
category of personnel are defined for
responsibilities it helps in objective selections
 Personnel Records :
 Personnel records are kept on each staff
members including as application of
employment record of personal interview
verification of credentials letter of acceptance
personal data attendance salary performance
evaluation records:


 They represents and informal agreement
between n hospital and the employees
 Health’s Services:
 The plan of health care for employees is the set
forth in written polices which govern pre
employment physical examination periodically re
examination and provision for diagnostic
preventive and therapeucitic measures including
