4. Concluding:
Based on the data collected, it’s seen that the temperature of water increases almost at
the same rate, but when it boils (87ºc) the temperature stops rising.

Questions:
1. Why didn’t we reach the boiling point of 100 degrees Celsius?
-One of the reasons our boiling point was below a 100c is because of our elevation. Also
because it was pure water (different types of water have different boiling points).
2. Why did the temperature stop increasing if we kept heating up the water?
-Because when a substance boils the molecules are moving the fastest as they can
even if the water is being heated, as the molecules cant move faster, the temperature
does not increase.
