This document provides a rubric for evaluating ceramic dessert sculptures based on four criteria: completion of requirements, composition and application of design elements, creative problem solving, and craftsmanship. Students were asked to sketch and create ceramic replicas of 10 different desserts using clay hand-building techniques and acrylic paints. Their pieces will be assessed on demonstrating knowledge of elements and principles of design, incorporating creative details, effectively using taught materials and processes, and showing care in production. The total possible points are 51.
