Title of Course: English Tenth Grade
Teacher: Jannette Rivera
Course Textbook: Mc Dougal Literature

Description of the Course: Based on the constructivist approach and the development of different
educational techniques the course will prepare all students to reach their potential ability to communicate
affectively in English in the four strands of the language:
1)   Oral Communication
        2)   Written Communication
        3)   Reading Comprehension
        4)   Literary Appreciation

General Objectives: The students will recognize the importance of the English acquisition as the
development of the competencies and linguistic skills geared at promoting his/her personal culture, social,
ethical, aesthetical, growth and dealing with the expectations and demands of society.
