1. To begin the production of the first double page I had to create a document that was to the size of two A4 pages, I then had to separate the document in half by including a line down the centre of the document. Width: 420mm Height: 297mm Resolution: 300 Pixels/Inch Colour Mode: RGB Colour 8Bit
2. I then began to add the background image for the page. The background image I have used was taken in 1989, I was given permission off the photographer to use it in my magazine.
3. I then changed the image to black and white by Image > Adjustments > Black & White. By doing this the text and photographs Which will be placed over this image will be more visible to the readers.
4. I then lowered the opacity to increase the focus on the photographs and text which will be placed on top of the image.
5. The next stage was to add the house style elements to the page, which were the page numbers and the issue number. Then to add the title for the first article.
6. The last part till the page was complete was to import the images into suitable positions and leave space for the text to be placed.
7. Next was to add the final touches to the page by copying the text to the free section of the page and to edit any suitable areas Such as the alignment of each images to ensure the quality of the page is to a high standard.
