This activity aims to target possible digital media software / interactive digital media that
may be integrated in the lesson you have personally chosen.
1. This activity will be done by pair. As future teachers, list down some digital media
software / interactive digital media that can be used to support teaching and learning in
the lesson you are interested in. describe how these digital media software/ interactive
digital media will be used in teaching and instruction.
2. Using PowerPoint, Keynote or any other digital media software, design your own digital
media software on the same topic you have chosen earlier. Use a separate sheet to place

2. Prezi is an online presentation design
tool that allows users to create classroom
or online presentations. Prezi differs
from other presentation tools like
PowerPoint in that it does not use slides
but rather a navigable virtual

new world between whiteboards and
slides. Prezi is also helping to reinvent
the art of presentation and Prezi lets you
make slick, dynamic presentations
without traditional slides
Zotero is a bibliography tool in the
form of a Firefox plugin from CHNM.
Zotero is a free, open source tool with
features like bibliographic management
and organization, online citation
capture, group collaboration and citation
searching.
Omeka is an online templated virtual
exhibition tool that is a collections
based, web-based publishing platform
for scholars, librarians, archivists,
museum professionals, educators, and
cultural enthusiasts. Omeka How-To

Audacity - Simple, yet very
effective, open-source multi-track
audio editing software. It helps
teacher or students to create audio
presentation (like in PE, different
activities etc.) You can import audio
files, chop them up, fade them in
and out, or use more advanced
editing features, then export the
entire project as an MP3 or WAV
file.
