Importing sounds
You can place sound files into Flash by importing them into the library for the current
document in wav and mp3 format.
When placing a sound on the Timeline, you place it on a separate layer.
To import a sound:
1. Open Tutorial 5.
2. Insert a new layer (name it as sound), and then drag it below the Layer 1.
3. Select File > Import > Import to Library.
4. In the Import dialog box, locate and open the desired sound file. The selected file
automatically appears on Library.

5. Click on layer sound, and then drag the sound from library to the stage.

8. Select an effect option from the Effects pop-up menu:
None applies no effects to the sound file.
Left Channel/Right Channel plays sound in the left or right channel only.
Fade Left to Right/Fade Right to Left shifts the sound from one channel
to the other.
Fade In gradually increases the volume of a sound over its duration.
Fade Out gradually decreases the volume of a sound over its duration.
Custom lets you create custom in and out points of sound using the Edit
Envelope.
9. Select sync option from the Sync pop-up menu:
Event synchronizes the sound to the occurrence of an event.
Start is the same as Event, except that if the sound is already playing, no new
instance of the sound plays.
Stop silences the specified sound.
Stream stream sound can never play longer than the length of the frames it
occupies.
10. Save your file and test your movie.
