THINK
Somewhere... a girl shivering and cold.
Presents, and parties! Yes, that’s Christmas Day!
THINK
Somewhere...a baby asleep in the hay.
For this exercise, you need to think about what you really enjoy about
Christmas, using lots of powerful verbs and adjectives. Then reflect
upon someone who isn’t as lucky as you and what they might be
experiencing.
Remember, a poem doesn’t have to always rhyme; repetition can be
used to create a poem. This is where the repetitive use of ‘Think’ will
make a poem if it doesn’t rhyme.
What do you like about
Christmas?
What might be happening to
someone else around the
world?
