3. The hardest of all and probably most
important is the political interview because
you have to be careful not to lose the subject.
Important also is to keep the audience
engaged.
4. Listen to the answers and do not denominate the person you are interviewing with the
questions.
Try to understand and feel involved with the person you are interviewing
Engage and converse
If you need to then challenge the answer that the person you are interviewing has given
you but only if it will improve the quality of the conversation.
5. It is a huge responsibility if you are
interviewing someone about a subject
that is close to their heart, and don’t
force someone to do an interview they
are unsure about, because it may make
them live with the consequences for the
rest of their life.
