Production roles
Our short film will be simple to film and edit as everyone in the
group has been designated a role for the making process. I will be
taking on the role of director as I feel like I have a good overview of
the short film as it was a previous idea I thought of in a previous task
and can now make it. Being director is a suitable role for me as I
know what needs o be done and how so I can direct Mellissa and
Micah in order to create the short film.
Melissa will be the producer its her role to oversee each project from
conception to completion and may also be involved in the marketing
and distribution processes. Producers work closely with the directors
and other production staff on a shoot. She will also be making sure
the post production and editing runs smoothly.
Micah will be the cameraman and sound engineer as she was here
when sir gave a workshop of how to use the equipment, it will be her
job to ensure all the shots and filming are done correctly including all
the angle shots in the shot list. She also has to be aware of the
surrounding sound such as students in college talking and other
unwanted sound, she will also have to aware of sound in the editing
process.
The talent will be Chillapi, she will be the only actor in the film so her
part is vital
