 To standardize a channel of communication with all students
 To share information about learning outcomes and assessment
of the course so that expectations about the course are more
realistic
 To improve the induction process
 To encourage self-directed learning by sharing learning
objectives with students
 To provide parents with information so that they can keep track
of their children progress
 Eventually, to share more information about students with
teachers

lesson rather than the students
 Teachers might lack the digital skills to use moodle
 Teachers may think IT department might give little
support
