Project Happy Feet is a non-profit that empowers lives of underprivileged children and youths through education and training so as to alleviate poverty. It identifies sustainable education and training related programmes, carries out innovative fund-raising initiatives, and matches volunteers to build capacity of NGOs. One of its signature fundraiser is the Project Happy Feet Slipper Race, a non-competitive 3-5km walk in slippers (flip flops), where 100% of registration fees is channeled to fund education and training related programmes. To date, Project Happy Feet has raised more than $400,000 for underprivileged children in Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam and Nepal.
