1. “So different and
so alike.
Everybody needs
a chance…”
4th Comenius meeting
Turkey 21-28 sept 2011

2. On September 21st, five students ( Juan Jiménez , José Lázaro,
Germán Garrido, Conchi Garrido and Victoria Víbora) and three
teachers ( Isabel , Mª José and Alfonsi) from our school, went to
Turkey to the fourth meeting of the Comenius “So different and so
alike. Everybody needs a chance…”

3. The 4th meeting took place in
Osmaniye, located in southern
Turkey, the population is 194.000.

4. The students and teachers who went to Turkey were from
Portugal, Spain, Hugary, Romania, Poland and Turkey. We spent five
days together. We stayed at Turkish pupils homes.
The Comenius students…

5. The first day:
We visited the school, the classes, the music museum.
-We played traditional games, football, basketball…
-We visited the famous ruins of the city of Hierapolis
and we walked around the countryside.

6. We are playing traditional

All together…

7. The 2nd day: we visited the city of Antakia, we saw an old church , we
visited the archeological museum, we had lunch and went for a walk
around the city…At night there was an international party . The
students from all the countries danced traditional music.
Very happy, with people turkyes

8. When we returned to Osmaniye, they had
prepared us an international party…

9. The third day, we visited the Capadoccia region,
a beautiful and old city, and its underground
city…
Beautiful city…

10. Spanish family…

11. The last day we spent the day with our family, and
our partners took us to different places. For example:
• Some of us went to the beach, others went to
a birthday party, to play video games…
• Finally we left for Istanbul to visit this
wonderful city….

12. We stayed two days in Istambul…

13. We visited the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia,
the Galata tower, we went for a boat trip
along the Bosforo, …

14. SEE YOU IN SPAIN!!!!
