It is a methodology which allows the
students to acquire the knowledge by the
elabotation of proyects which give
answers to real life problems.
3. GROUPS FORMATION
Heterogenous group formation of 4-5
students establishing a balance between
knowledge of the subject, sex, shy
students…
Roles: Speaker, Coordinator, Secretary,
Responsible of the material
4. In which it consists of?
it is a group of tasks based on the
resolution of problems by the involvement
of the students in investigation processes in
a relatively autonomous way which ends in
a final product presented before the class,
such tasks are worked through the different
subjects.

• To analyse the cost of a plate and the best place to buy the
ingredients
• To study if it is a balanced diet
• To know the origin anf the history of the food
• To make the food

(Geography and History)
Each group select a country, locate
it in an European map and explain
its main characteristics.
7. • Dish and typical dessert
(Geography and History)
Look for information on Internet and talk
with the teachers of the language of the
country they are studying.
8. • Analysis of the cost of the dish and where to
buy the ingredients?
(Maths)
By an Excell, using proportions and taking into
account the recipe for 4 people, they calculate
the ingredients for each member of the family.
They compare the prices in different
supermarkets, taking into account the cost of
he journey to these supermarkets.
9. • To study if it is a balanced diet
(Biology and Geology)
They have studied the quantity of carbohdrates,
and proteins which must have a balanced dish,
they have analyse the dish and they propose
modifications of the ingredients to be balanced..
10. • To know the origin and the history of the
food (History)
Look for information about the origin and
the history of the region of the country
where it is typical the food.
11. • Preparation of the food
The members of the group collaborate to
prepare the food,they have to buy the
ingredients in the selected supermarket.
They record the preparation of the food.
12. • Presentation of the project
To make a presentation Power Point of the project
and they explain to their partners.
In the multicultural breakfast all the dishes are
exposed and the students wear typical customes.
