1. The document discusses a proposed ICON PITCH project called IGNIS that aims to enable clinical trials in a more automated way using electronic health records. 2. The goals of the project are to provide secured access to medical records for clinical trials at a Belgian scale, use data mining and statistics to support data gathering, investigate anonymizing technology, and provide a legal framework while building a demonstrator. 3. The project is looking for partners from industry, hospitals, software companies, governmental institutions, and EU projects to help conduct clinical trials using electronic health records in a standardized and automated manner.
