Introduction:
As, we know that traffic light signals plays very important role in our society for
the controlling of vehicle flow. So, just we are applied this application through
PLC. These are placed atroundabout’s and crossings of the roads.
Working:
Network1
Start button (I 0.0) used to start the program or traffic signal and stop button (I
0.1) is used to stop the program and it can also be used for emergency stop.
Network2
The pulse timer (T0) is used torun only 10s when this timer is ON the two
green Lights (Q 0.0 and Q 0.1) of one side are ON and the other opposite side
RED lights (Q 0.2 and Q 0.3) were ON atsame time.
Network3
After the timer T0 is OFF then the timer T1 will ON and it will glow or turn ON
all yellow lights of all traffic signals. It will run only for 5s.
Network4
After T1 gets off then T2 will start and it will glow or Turn ON the two
green Lights (Q 0.4 and Q 0.5) of one side are ON and the other
opposite side RED lights (Q 0.6 and Q 0.7) were ON at same time.
Network 5
After the timer T2 is OFF then the timer T3 will ON and it will glow or
turn ON all yellow lights of all traffic signals. It will run only for 5s. it is
responsible for the continuous running of Traffic Signal.
Network 6
In this network the yellow lights will be glow if any one of the network
from 3 or 5 will be true. The addresses are common of all yellow lights
because yellow lights are shorted together.
